The location is residential but full of places to go. The check in very easy and the common spaces very nice. The room is the right dimension, well equipped and clean. Suggestion: put some more hangers at the entrance.

The location was great if you want to be in Hayes Valley, which is a wonderful little spot in SF. However, the app experience requires jumping through tons of annoying hoops to get going. Also, there’s are way too many texts and emails pestering for updates on check in times, check out times, polls, etc. We were trying to enjoy our evening out and Sonder interrupts to ask when we are going to check out. A regular hotel doesn’t pester you like that. I am fine with a digital front desk, but I don’t want my hotel room to require me to be glued to my phone. The room shouldn’t be my first priority when I travel. Just let me arrive and depart within the bounds and stop trying to get me to optimize your utilization. The hotel room was just a bed and a bathroom, modernized relatively cheaply. The towels are stored by the front door as far as possible from the shower, despite that there is towel shelf in the bathroom. The TV requires logging into all your streaming accounts on a Roku, with no voice assistant - a digital experience in the clumsiest way possible. It wasn’t clear whether we could store luggage after our check out time and the app messaging assistant didn’t respond to a question about this. I rarely leave bad reviews, but overall effect felt a bit like a slightly better version of a rent by the hour room. Could be much better with some care.

The place was so nice and cozy! Very unique and we all loved it. The service was also great. They responded as fast as they could and always kept in touch. The area wasn't bad and neither was the pricing. 10/10 would come again :)

We stayed in the apartment with two bedrooms. It was very comfortable and quiet. Short walking distance to the tram and about 10 minutes (walk) to Civic Center. Area safe and quiet. The living area is huge and well equipped.

This room was perfect for my stay. It was close to several great restaurants and had everything I needed for my trip. The check in/out process was very conveinient and I enjoyed that the lounge area had filtered water and tea bags.

it was basically a too short mattress on a wire frame. i slept very poorly. the mattress seemed like a camp bed. i am of average height and my feet extended over the frame. The security of the building felt a bit lax as there seemed to be no onsite personnel and a shared entry code

Excelente experiencia, todo el proceso digital fue muy bien, pero recibimos dos veces los códigos, nos quedamos con los primeros y descartamos los segundos. La habitación es muy linda pero un poco pequeña. Lo que menos me gustó es que no tiene caja de seguridad. Otros detalles: hay un mueble para retirar toallas pero no donde dejar las usadas; sólo había cortina blockout y debería tener otra para que no te veas desde el edificio de enfrente, y la ventana del baño de la habitación #9 debería tener un mosquitero, porque abre casi a la altura del piso de la terraza y pueden entrar bichos o ratas. La ubicación es excelente, tenía dudas, pero luego estuve alojado en Union Sq y Hayes Valley es mejor: está lleno de restaurantes excelentes, cafés de especialidad, podes salir de noche sin cruzarte adictos y es una zona bastante plana. Está muy bien conectada y en pocos minutos de transporte público podes llegar a las principales atracciones de la ciudad. El acceso al aeropuerto es muy fácil, ya que la autopista está a unos 300 metros. Si bien en el hotel no hay personal, durante el día sí hemos visto gente.
