Worst of experience. You have to climb nearly 42 stiff steps to reach the reception. The room is very small. In the middle of room there is a beam which can bang to your forehead very often. The dining room is not properly organised. They will insist you to take dinner in the room. But the room is so small you cannot eat. Breakfast is very bad. I had booked for two days but left within a day. One day’s price lost. The only pros is the location. It is very near to the mall room.

The hotel does not provide any staff for luggage pickup. We have to pay porter exhorbitan charges for every 2 piece of luggage. Also if we have to accompany the luggage they charge extra. Again this is all Govt charging the tourists. Also there are no proper lifts and I as senior citizen had to climb 7 floors as Sterling Legacy was on 7th floor. Later another hotel allowed me use of their lift However Sterling Legacy house keeping was very good. Particularly Preetam was excellent.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Shimla and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location was excellent, offering beautiful views of the hills and easy access to the Mall Road, which made sightseeing and shopping very convenient. The room was well maintained, clean, and cozy, with comfortable bedding and all the basic amenities provided. The balcony view in particular was a highlight, as it allowed us to enjoy the fresh mountain air and scenic surroundings. The staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help. They ensured a smooth check-in process and were quick to respond to any requests. Housekeeping kept the room tidy every day, which added to the comfort of the stay. The food served at the in-house restaurant was tasty, with both local and standard options available. Breakfast had a good variety, though a few more choices could make it even better. One small area of improvement would be the Wi-Fi connectivity, which was inconsistent at times. However, considering the overall warmth of the service, the peaceful environment, and the value for money, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Shimla. We had stayed sterling legacy on 1st sep-2025 with my friends.sterling legacy on the mall Road we enjoyed lots on the mall Road and Ridge.house keeping staff was amazing.Room was neat and cleaned.front office team was very helpfull.every think was very fine great team in Sterling legacy We will come again.

Great experience...! Service was top notch, location is very beautiful with hill view. It is located near to every famous spot like Church, market, The mall, Jakhu temple, etc. Staff was very helpful especially Satpal, Ehsas, Vikrant & Rahul. Will definitely rebook in future for sure.
我们一家三口（都是大人）住在这里，房间很宽敞，住得很舒服。最值得一提的是酒店的地理位置真的很好。离Mall Road和电梯（升降机）都很近，去缆车站也挺方便的。所以，即使回酒店后想再出门，也不会觉得麻烦。美中不足的是，有段时间淋浴水温不太稳定，早餐餐厅也稍显拥挤。考虑到酒店建在坡地狭小的空间里，设施比较紧凑也是情有可原的。
