We arrived shortly after 7pm on a Friday night hoping to do a quick walk downtown before putting our kids to bed. We couldn’t access the hotel from the back door alley way, then found someone trying to access our room with a reservation for the same room number. Our access code was successfully able to open the door, only to find a room with a broom laying in the hallway. Maybe the cleaner had an emergency or maybe stopped midshift, who knows? A lovely lady in a call centre in the Philippines was not able to help as her team wasn’t getting back to her. So… here I was, in Savannah, with a basically sold out city, with our two kids and no place the stay. We found a Hilton in Port Wentsworth with space. I already paid for parking with the third party service provider. When I asked the call centre lady for a refund, she said she could put a note on file- no dice. Stay elsewhere unless you want to gamble with an experience like ours.

Great location and spacious rooms, perfect for staying a few nights in Savannah. The rooms are close to the main shopping area and near to the city market and riverside. Also close to stops for the dot free shuttle service to Forsyth park and beyond. The bedroom was close to the hallway, the living room (with sofa bed) was on the street side. There was a shop being fitted next door while we stayed so there was some noise from about 7am that affected the living room but normally that wouldn’t be an issue and the road was otherwise very quiet. The kitchen has plenty of crockery and cutlery, a big fridge freezer, oven/hobs, microwave and dishwasher. There’s also a washing machine and dryer. All the bits and pieces you would need for washing up and laundry are provided, with stock available if you run out. The air con is powerful, to the extent that I was coming indoors to cool off and going back out to warm up, an odd experience for a Brit ( and maybe a more experienced user of air con would have found a less chilly setting 😁). It is possible to store luggage if you arrive early or after you’ve checked out. I got into a bit of difficulty with finding the codes (phone didn’t want to work abroad and I had multiple places to search). I popped over to the office a block or so away but there was noone around. Fortunately I had the app downloaded (recommend doing this ahead of time!) and all the codes are available once I looked in the right place. What with email and texts and the app I was in a middle but the information was all available and the storage was most convenient.

Great stay! Stayed on a Tuesday so it was much quieter. The. Elevator was in the back of the building through the alley. Centrally located and pedestrian friendly. So much better than a hotel as you get a full apartment. You’re surrounded by history, shopping, and eateries.

Good facilites and perfect location but did have a few drawbacks. The soundproofing was woefully inadequate due to loose floorboards which meant that any walking sounds from above could be heard. Windows were single glazed and all traffic noise could be heard as well as noise from local restaurants. No warning about parking overnight due to street cleaning and had a $40 fine for leaving the car outside overnight. This property is more suited to younger guests who have smart phones with internet access but as we had a UK phone with no data access we were at a disadvantage when checking in to the premises.Luckily we did receive a text message just before arrival giving us a new access code even though our cell service was very varied.

Me and my son stayed in November 2023 for a concert in town, granted the unit was very spacious and clean. But when we arrived on a Wednesday the door key lock was broke so the front door was open, considering there was a numerous amount of homeless people outside on the streets needless to say by the time we came in one night one was sleeping at our door and another one got in and ran around screaming and yelling obscenities' . I felt very unsafe and scared. I don't understand why the door key lock was not fixed as we came on a weekday. I would never recommend this place as I was scared. If I had not lost money I would of moved into a hotel somewhere else. I Understand the homeless problem is not management problem but the door lock key code could of been fixed and prevented the homeless from coming in the building.

We booked a two bed, two bath + pull out sofa. The building is old and repurposed and super charming. Our unit (3L) faced the parking lot - so the view was not good - but that was ok. Location is awesome and within walking distance to everything. Unit was clean and building very secure. My only criticism is the noise - which a lot of people seem to complain about. Around midnight on Friday and Saturday night it was LOUD with people partying. They do supply sound machines and ear plugs, but it's not enough to combat the noise. They really need to put in sound proof windows. Otherwise, lovely unit and lovely stay.
