This wasn't our original Sonder rental. We had to change due to the other location not having on-site parking. We enjoyed the property. Clean rooms, kitchen and bathroom had just about all that you needed. We were in walking distance of the Super Dome. I'd recommend it to friends and family.

Quieter neighborhood to stay. Have to take Uber or Lyft to get to Fr Qtr. Very spacious rooms and felt secure. Low water pressure. Few amenities which could have been added: pitcher, Teflon skillets, various sz mixing bowls; which I purchased and left for next guest.

After multiple messages to the "concierge" within two days of having a broken toilet and a gate that didn't lock on the facility, I was outraged. Can you imagine having a toilet that didn't flush for TWO days and no one on the facility to help you? Not only that, but having a gate that didn't lock in a neighborhood that wasn't exactly safe after dark? For your own peace of mind, spend a little more money to stay somewhere where there is a REAL concierge.

When I first got to the location, I wondered if I had made a mistake as it seemed sketchy. It had rained very hard the previous two days and there was construction on the road which led us to the property. Getting there, I was confused how to get into the parking lot and reread the instructions. Aha! There was a key pad for access to the parking lot. Got in and parked. Glanced around and it was a very nice clean building with a fence around it. The driveway and parking lot was very nice, although there was a smell of standing water behind the fence (outside the property). I then was confused how to get into the building and saw these steps leading up to what seemed like the main entrance. There was a keypad at the entrance. Entered the code and went in. Duh! It was not. It was the steps to the 2nd floor! LOL! Inside, the building was spotless and beautiful. Got to the apartment and opened the door. It was beautiful, well-appointed and so clean! The furniture was nice and clean. The living room couch was comfortable and clean. Two small glass coffee tables were in front of it and beyond that was a large flat-screen TV on a small entertainment center. The kitchen was fantastic and well-equipped with dishware, silverware, coffee maker, pots, strainers, cutting board, knives, etc! Under the sink, there was an air-tight container with tide pods and dishwasher detergent. There were also the trash bins and trash bags. The Fisher-Paykel dishdrawer worked great (when we had dishes to wash) although it was not as intuitive to operate. The Fisher-Paykel gas range was beautiful and useful. On top of that was a convection microwave hood. Very useful. The built-in refrigerator with bottom freezer was large and cold! Nice dining table for four sat in a corner of the room. The bathroom was clean and bright, stocked with a small bar of hand soap, and a small bottle of body lotion. In the tub, one would find liquid body-wash, shampoo, conditioner. Towels, hand towels, and wash cloths were supplied. I recommend bringing a bath-puff as it makes it easier to shower with. The bedroom was very nice with two large built-in closets and a set of large built-in dressers. The bedroom could be sectioned off by pocket-doors. In one corner of the bedroom area sat a comfortable rattan seat and the other corner sat two chairs and a small table. Opening the single door (which looked like storage closets) one would find the heater and blower unit! Oops! Opening the set of bifold doors, revealed a large capacity washer and dryer set. So that was what the tide pods were for! There was also a broom there. My one gripe is that the curtains (tall windows) did not sufficiently cover the width of the windows. It was very difficult to adjust too. Perhaps two curtain panels would work better than the single panel. If you needed any extra toiletries, or tea or coffee, it was found in a little unit outside in the hallway. Takin

My husband and I stayed in a studio apartment for four nights when I went to a class at Tulane. The property was an easy walk to class. It is also close to the Superdome, but even with a pro football game going on our area stayed pretty quiet. The neighborhood is a bit mixed: I think they are still rebuilding some properties after Katrina. The building felt very secure, and we were very comfortable. There are a few quirks: Shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel are offered in the shower, but there is no hand soap at the sink. I enjoyed making tea in the mornings with an electric kettle. The curtains on the windows offer privacy, but don't really block the outside light from coming in. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Sonder exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was very impressed with the gated parking, and the use of the code only to get inside the building. My 1BR was luxurious. My husband and I felt very comfortable and felt secure. Communication was on point! As soon as I had a question, it was immediately answered via the Sonder App. The only downside was our 3rd day stay, as we came back from breakfast, there was a man sleeping on the couch in the foyer area on the 1st floor. We'll definitely rebook with Sonder. Thanks Sonder for completing our vacation.

It was very simple an secure to get in with the codes you send. We loved the house it is very nicely renewed. The appartment also is very nice, we loved the style. We cook a lot so for us maybe it would be nice to have a big bowl, some kitchen Towels, a Jar but it was ok. We had a car and drove every day to the center, no problem at all and our car was good and securely stored near our appartment.
