This feedback was provided to Sonder after our stay without response: We encountered code access issues in both our rentals upon arrival in 2 of our 3 rental apartments. 1. There is a dirty sliding glass door window splotch at eye level in room 406. Apparently housekeeping is not responsible for cleaning exterior windows, at least sliding glass door windows onto the balcony. This is striking because the bird poop (or bird carcass) splotch on the window’s outside is at a direct eye level view of the Capitol building. What a view when you first see it. 2. On the same sliding glass door, the interior blind roll is bound up and will not unwind to raise or lower. This is most inconvenient in the morning when you are forced awake by sunrise and in the afternoon when you want to take a nap. Fortunately, there are no direct line of sight neighbors to watch you dressing in the evening while the lights are on. 3. The exhaust fan in the master bathroom works when it wants to, it is intermittent. The first few days it did not operate at all. 4. The shower control on the tub spout in the guest bathroom does not work properly. Guests using this bath discovered there was no water pressure coming from the shower head. When we were able to sort of make it work with a slight flow, the master bathroom shower took nearly all the water leaving this shower head mostly useless. 5. The closets are too short in depth to open a standard height roller suitcase. We had to use the luggage rack to hold the suitcase (since there could be no walking room around the bed) and only open to ½ the closet, the doors were forced in place because the suitcases blocked free movement of the doors on the slider. Because the doors are forced open in place (no dresser operating out of the suitcase), half the closet remained useless. 6. There is no dresser in 406 master bedroom because there is only room for a bed. In our other rental room T6, there is a dresser in the bedroom because there is more room in that bedroom. 7. The two round side tables are located in the living room in T6, but in 406, they are placed outside on the patio, and both are very dirty. This location is convenient to the Marine Barracks area of town, a quiet neiborhood and walking distance to the Nat's stadium. Approximately 6/10 of a mile to the Metro. Recommend not renting an auto as parking is very very hard to find. We won't return to the property.

Literally the happiest time. The flat is ideally located for exploring. Supermarkets and eateries within walking distance and you can move further afield by metro with ballpark metro just down the road. You won’t be disappointed! We had the best time ever.

Great, secure and safe neighborhood. The apartment was clean and cool. Id totally live there! Close to the bus line and the DC connector (which is a easy and cheap way to get around to the museums and monuments). There’s plenty of bikes or scooters to ride up to the coffee shop in the morning (call your mom coffee, try their vanilla latte) or to hit Jeni’s icecream in the afternoon and it’s just a short walk to the “Brig” which is a beer garden, but we were surprised at how good their food was (try their burger). I was concerned that their wasn’t designated parking but we didn’t have a hard time finding parking at all and most the time parked right in front of the building. We would 100% stay at this location again.

This little apartment was perfect for our week trip in dc for our family of 6, with 3 teens. Very clean, loved the water stations as we were doing alot of walking in July. Perfect neighborhood, an easy walk to lots of things and two metro stations! Stocked with all the things we needed to cook and take a shower! This beats Airbnb hands down. Our only complaints were there was one night the water was shut off at 10pm because of an emergency water line issue and wasn't back on until sometime in the middle of the night/early morning. Totally out of the properties control, but for the price you pay, sucks to have to deal with. Also, no bar stools as advertised so we couldn't all sit and eat at the same time. But we would definitely recommend!! No parking, but we secured a spot on the street right in front the first day and our car didn't move until we were ready to leave!

Awesome place to stay. Loved the products that were provided like the lotion and soap. Comfy beds! Parking is a bit of a pain but this place is within walking distance to great eateries and a liquor store.

Everything was awesome! I was happily surprised because I didn't know we had a washer and dryer AND pots and pans AND shower amenities. Obviously I didn't read thoroughly enough the description. The person below was banging on the ceiling at 5pm, but we have a two year old and... it was only 5pm so there wasn't much we could do about it. Great location. We enjoyed taking the eastern market metro stop. There were tons of amazing restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store down the street. We recommend Bombay if you like Indian food! We felt very safe also :).
