Last week we made a family trip to blackbuck Lodge in velavadar and stayed for two nights. The location of this BBL property is excellent. The nature and serenity of the ambience at it's best. As usual the Service, Hospitality and food was top notch.Property is at 10min distance from velavadar national park safari booking, during our jeep safaris we spotted stripped hyena, jungle cat, blackbuck and many birds Even we spotted few wild birds and monitor lizard in lodge as well, Overall a very memorable stay. The property is well located near park and many more tourist places near by This also adds novelty to this property.

Top place for someone planning a safari at Blackbuch national park. Price overall on the high side but valuable rooms / place.

Our second visit and we were not disappointed. It is a little further away from the national park than other lodges but well worth the extra few minutes. new lodges going up but we would not consider staying anywhere else. Our room and bathroom were spacious and our own veranda too. Food excellent. We now have a problem with green chilli but their chefs catered for us specially. There is a lovely pool too. Staff delightful and we were really pleased to see our guide from last time Amit who was excellent as before. We will be back!!

This lodge is located near the entrance of black buck national park. This park is a small jewel for bird lovers! Although the English language of the staff was poor, the naturalist Amith, made up for it. His knowledge of birds is awesome! The lodge is average, the rooms are quite basic. The food is fresh and vegetarian only.

It is a beautiful lodge, the food is amazing, the national park is incredible, and I had some of the most incredible customer service ever. I ended up getting dropped off in the wrong place by a bus, and Dalpat at the lodge stepped in to speak to locals to get me back in track. As a foreigner, his assistant and support was priceless. In addition, they have an in-house naturalist who speaks English well. I loved my time at the lodge and will definitely come again if I can.

We stayed for a night - room no 119 . Manager Dalpat Singh Ji was very helpful . Naturalist Amitbhai vegad showed us around the park . He has immense knowledge on birds - we were lucky to spot hyena , jungle cat , pelican, painted stork , flamingo, purple swamp hen , darter and of course black buck - food and property facility are excellent- very good place to unwind

Amit - Naturalist Thanks so much for sharing your excellent knowledge of birdlife and wildlife during our stay at the Blackbuck Safari Lodge. You were thoughtful of our interest in wildlife, allowing us to understand your comments and information for us to take many great photos. To complete our memorable trip, you even broke the speed record in the hope of seeing the hyenas. We were successful however in sighting the wolf, the blackbuck and a jungle cat with her kitten. Many, many thanks from Graham and Sandra Hotel Overall, a pleasant and comfortable hotel, with helpful and attentive staff. Unfortunately at the time of our stay, the hotel pool was not in the best of conditions and therefore we were unable to use it. Unknown to us, Gujarat is a vegetarian state and therefore a lack of meat was a problem for myself. Rooms were comfortable and clean

We stayed for 1 night at the lodge. We felt very welcome the entire time. The room is good and although water pressure was a bit unstable even the showers were pleasant, which to our experience is not always te case in India. We enjiyed a fantastic private safari with a knowledgable guide, and were lucky enough to spot wolves, striped hyena and jungle cats. Only negative point is that the pool was not open, even though the property is sold ad having a swimming pool. We would have liked a dip when we arrived after a long car ride .

The best holiday spent at a property in recent years. Its best in service and food with Pretty good rooms. Nicely maintained swimming pool. Neat n clean room and bathroom. We would like to visit again for sure. Calm n accessible location.
