My guests and I booked the apartments for our wedding weekend in Austin four months in advance, only to get all 4 bookings cancelled 3 weeks before the event. Since it's also F1 and college football weekend, it has made it really hard to book something else this close to the event, without shelling out an exorbitant amount of money. This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Will never book a stay with Sonder again.

Do not stay here!!! We paid for 4 nights in full over two months ago, booking directly through the Sonder By Marriott website. We traveled to Austin from Sydney, Australia, only to learn when we arrived they cancelled our reservation, because they over booked. They refused to put us in another property, after we traveled over 20 hours, and told us we were on our own there was nothing they could do. How can you do this the same day when we have already paid in full?? Their customer service is awful and the representative continued to tell me that I needed to find a new place on my own & that they would not compensate us aside from $50 off our next stay. Which we declined as we will never book with them again. The representative also would not connect me with a manager. Horrible experience after traveling 20 hours across the world and arriving in Austin with nowhere to stay.

The price and location are great. I’ve visited 4 times and the my one consistent criticism is that the pool and pool area are always filthy. Also the cleaning staff has entered my room before checkout on two occasions. The noise from the street in the e 5th side is a bit much Thursday through Saturday as well.

Fantastic apartment! The place was HUGE! Location was awesome right near all bars and restaurants. Complex has a pool and a great gym. Our second time staying at a Sonder. First was in Rome. Love everything about them. Will seek to stay at them wherever we find them.

Great location. Next door to light rail station and surrounded by great food and nightlife. Very clean. The room included everything we needed for cooking as well as toiletries. The price was substantially lower than any hotel in downtown and it included a kitchen.

Very nice and clean corner apartment with view of city skyline. Apartment was right off the elevator access which was great as one member of our party was on crutches. Bedrooms were comfy and nice size. Within walking distance to some great places to eat & drink and to a CVS and Target.

I recently stayed in Austin Texas at 1 of their properties. I got one with a small balcony it was great view of the city, another great Sonders property with large open kitchen dining room living room bedroom a walkin closet and bathroom. Very clean it was in a good location Very clean it was in a good location I did the one on East 5th street. Parking continues to be the only down side of a sonder propertys in my opinion i.e. No valet type parking like at a hotel but I'm kind of getting used to how you can park either in the garage or on the street .I think it's worth the inconvenience to have a nice sized beautiful room.

Great stay - spacious apartments with every convenience! The kitchen/living area really generous in size even though it was only a 1 bedroom - comfy bed and a huge bathroom. As previous reviews instructions and communications really clear. Location is great with eateries and whole foods on doorstep - Lyft really cheap and fast to get into congress ave etc. As there is no security desk or concierge etc it does feel a bit quiet outside when you go down to collect food delivery’s at night but never felt unsafe even though you have to go via car park. Would return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The communication was excellent before we arrived; updates to access codes and instructions for how to find entrance etc. the apartment was spacious, clean and full of everything we needed to stay there. Excellent instructions on how to check out and leave the building and in all, a very very pleasurable experience. We look forward to using Sonder again.
