Very clean room...the 'game room' and atmosphere in the lobby was quite unique and welcoming upon arrival. We look forward staying in Oxford at the La Qinta Inn again.

Our stay was awful.....We were moved to 3 different rooms and finally just gave up and went to sleep. Rooms looked like somebody tried to repaint with a different color, old items left in cupboard and clearly weren't cleaned, room as a whole was not cleaned, dirty under everything, hairs on towels in several rooms we stayed in, even the lobby and elevator had broken trim pieces. At midnight we couldn't take it any more and had to be moved from room 2 because the AC smelled like mildew so bad it was making us nauseous, plus my daughter was itching while laying in bed. The floors were so dirty that after walking on the floor 10 minutes after a shower my feet were so dirty I had to go clean them again. The staff was accommodating and apologetic each time when moving us, but the hotel was so bad that we just couldn't get over it.

I would give this an 8/10 stay

The overall stay was good. The location was great and close to downtown. The staff was friendly and the room overall was comfortable. The room had some sticky spots on the desk which made me question the overall cleanliness of the room and the walls were thin so I could hear the neighbors on both sides talking.

Property staff were super friendly and great! The air conditioner in our room was extremely loud and noisy, constantly turning on and off- made it very difficult to sleep.

The Oxford shuttle service (bus) that picks up in front of LaQuinta to shuttle to Grove / Stadium is not dependable. Very erratic times it shows up for pickup. The LaQuinta does not control this, but it is the only shuttle type service available at this location. Uber / ride share to the Grove / Vaught Stadium is best. You will wait a long time for the Oxford shuttle bus to pick up out front of LaQuinta! I will stay at this LaQuinta again, but will not wait on the Oxford bus shuttle.

Yuck

I usually stay on the first floor. Maybe that was the difference. The elevator smelled of rot leaking out of garbage bags. The floor was sticky. The hallways were filthy with bits of food. The room needed a broom and a vacuum. The sheets were so old or worn that they were textured with polyester fabric pills. The upholstered chairs were stained on all sides of the cushion. Yuck

Hairs

For being a newer hotel the rooms/bathrooms were not very clean. Towels had black embedded hairs in them and shower needs a good scrub down. Hairs everywhere in bathroom. Wore my flip flops on floor. The La Quinta needs a new cleaning crew.

Me and my niece stayed here. This is the second time and we love it. I would only say that the rooms could use a bit more light. Also, the room was almost 300 dollars which was insane. We stay here for the rates
