We were on the 3rd floor by Douglas ave and we could hear cars passing by and revving their engines. Woke us up quite a bit. Saturday night was more quiet than friday night. Wasn't sure if our room was the cleanest. Found some long hairs on the bedding and in the bathroom. Fridge wasnt cleaned out. Had a drink left in the fridge as well.

Parking was difficult. They charge $10 a day if you use the parking garage. Every single time that you leave, you have to get a new slip to take all the way to the front desk. After multiple trips down to the lobby, ended up just parking in the street.

Great location. Parking is costly, might be ways around this. I can recommend staying at this Hilton.

Everything was fine, room was clean, one exception-the parking validation. Checking out, I asked the staff to validate my parking and the guy at the desk took my parking card and supposedly validated it but when I inserted it the parking garage machine, it came back and said 'card invalid; so I had to pay the $5 since the validation didn't work. $5 is no big deal but it was frustrating that the guy at the desk 'validated' the card but it didn't work.

This was the perfect destination for our weekend getaway because it was walking distance to a lot of cute restaurants, breweries, and shops!

Our room faced Douglas road and there was a ton of noise from cars both Friday andSat night until after midnight.
Nothing the hotel can control but if you’re a light sleeper, not recommend

FIVE STARS!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Wichita was fantastic! Super nice hotel, super clean, nicely decorated, friendly & helpful staff. There is noisy traffic on the main street especially on the weekends, lots of loud cars & motorcycles that like to rev their engines. This of course is not the hotels fault and if this is something you might be sensitive too then I suggest booking your room in the rear of the hotel. My room was on the ground floor and in the rear of the hotel and it was super quiet! I didn’t hear any street traffic. The bed was super comfortable as were the linens and pillows.
Super nice indoor pool area on the 6th floor and nice fitness center in the lower level.
My truck felt safe in the parking garage and was not bothered with. Great location, close to some fun ships and restaurants.
I will most definitely stay here again!

"Draggin Douglas" is a problem
It is a nice location and the hotel is well maintained, but I will never stay there, again. This is because of the road noise. Until 3 AM, cars were "draggin' Douglas" in front of the hotel, revving and gunning engines. Sleep was impossible. It was my restless hotel stay ever. This is something outside of the hotel's control, but nonetheless. . .
Also, be aware that there are very few free parking spaces. If those are occupied, you must pay to park in the city garage.

Parking and accessing the building the first time was a little confusing. Room is great.
