We have stayed at this hotel a few times and always enjoy the stay. The rooms are beautifully renovated in the Art Deco style of the original hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast, excellent. We also dined at the on-site restaurant which was also excellent. We would always stay here in Armidale.

Had a great few days celebrating with family in Armidale. Tatts is a wonderful place to stay and eat. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. We had a dinner for 12 in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Also had Sunday breakfast - the baked eggs were a hit.

Amazingly we arrived and were given an upgrade to the suite. This was a huge surprise especially upon entering the room and finding a very large and well appointed room with a fabulous Art Deco feel and large gas fireplace. The bedroom was very roomy and the bed luxurious. The bathroom was simply sensational with large free standing bath and huge shower rose within a large shower area. I recommend this Hotel to anyone wanted to be pampered and have access to the best restaurant in Armadale. Simply the best.

My partner and I stayed at Tattersalls for 2 nights as part of a trip along the Waterfall Way and it far exceeded our expectations! A lovingly restored art deco building with huge charm and great attention to detail. The guest lounge and balcony was a treat, as was the Ladies Lounge and restaurant. The food was outstanding and of a high standard. The dining room has a lot of ambience and was the place to be on NYE! Our room was a beautifully appointed Queen Room-very quiet, super comfortable bed, and amazing big bathroom. We felt very cared for. Have been recommending to friends and will hope to return. The team behind the hotel deserve all the many awards they have received!!

We were really looking forward to staying here as the art deco building had been renovated. We were quite disappointed. Our room was very small - not what we expected however the lady on reception was lovely and helped with the car park - quite hard to find & it’s not secure so afterwards we went for drinks in the garden bar - staff were lovely so we were looking forward to dinner. Although the food was nice it was very overpriced and the wines were worse - ranged from $70 to $2000 a bottle. If you want to have a fine dining experience this is not it - no tablecloths, some staff need to look at their hygiene and our bill was incorrect charging for dessert we didn’t have. Of course everyone makes mistakes but it seemed difficult to give us a new bill. We think it was corrected but when checking out we were not a 100% sure. Armidale is very dead at the moment so if Tattersalls are going to survive they need to have a good look at what customers want. We won’t be back.

This hotel has been superbly renovated, it’s oozes charm through its art décor interiors. We were incredibly impressed with the detail from sideboards to lamps to tiles and carpets, nothing has been excluded in bringing this period piece alive. Great check in, with tips about what to do around town Generous size bathroom and good shower. Fantastic bed, probably the best I’ve slept on. Nice continental breakfast in dining room.
