Comfortable, Quiet and tranquil
Very comfortable, quiet and tranquil. I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Eco friendly and self sufficient power and water. Beautiful surrounds and close to walking tracks and waterfalls within 30mins. 15mins from Devonport.

If you want peace and quiet this is a must. I loved the sustainable living and having never stayed in a place like this, i found it to be an amazing experience. Even my 13 year old loved it, late at night she made a cup of tea and sat outside just in awe of the quiet. Me i enjoyed my complimentary wine while stargazing and listening to the sounds of nature. So incredibly happy with our experience and would definitely go again. Thankyou for an unforgettable stay

We were so looking forward to staying in a tiny house as we live off grid ourselves and were interested to see how others do it. Unfortunately we were disappointed to say the least. We stayed at Colonial Blue. The exterior of the tiny house looked quite run down and the cottage garden was very overgrown and unkempt. We were aware that the bathroom was in a separate tiny house but didn't realise that you had to go down several stairs, along a gravel path and then up more stairs to the bathroom. Made night time trips to the loo awkward to say the least. There was also quite an odour coming from the loo. We are used to composting toilets and the ones we use do not smell!! The bathroom itself was lovely but no bathrobes as advertised on the website. Disappointed that the bed wasn't in the loft area as that would have given more room inside. Also a microwave would be a nice addition for heating up takeaways or prepared food. Kitchen was well stocked but no chopping board! The outside furniture was not sturdy and we had to be careful sitting on the chairs as they felt like they were going to give way at any moment. All in all we had a very disappointing experience considering all the wonderful reviews I read before I booked. For what was offered I felt it was overpriced.

Cute cosy cottage
Communication from the owner was excellent, the accomodation was cosy and cute with beautiful views of the trees and hills. Being able to see both sunset and sunrise, and sit reading at the outdoor table, listening to and watching birds & bumble bees come in and out of the cottage garden was lovely. My favourite part was soaking in the big bath with the French doors open in the evening, enjoying the peacefulness of the quiet dark sky with a full moon and stars bright in the sky.
The bed was comfy and had all the things I needed without having to leave.
It’s a location that feels far enough away from the world beyond yet close to the coast and other attractions nearby.
The Arboretum is a short drive and a great place to enjoy birdlife, nature and maybe even spot a platypus or two 😊

A little slice of luxury on a picturesque hill
The Arc Pavillion was all that I wanted and more. The location is ideal, both country and coast within 15 minutes and ample attractions close by.
There is so much to enjoy at the property that I didn’t leave the two days that I stayed.
It is cleverly designed, maximising the side of the tiny home and a beautiful combination of simplicity, luxury and eco friendly living all rolled into one.
Whilst the toilet is a separate little building outside, it is only a few steps away. It did get cold over night when the fire went out (there is no other heating) but there is ample wood, the tiny home heats up quickly and hot water bottles were provided.
There bed was comfy, beautiful double doors to open up and let the sunshine and fresh breeze in whilst laying in bed, the view outside from the deck, bathtub and outdoor lounge is wonderful. I enjoyed peaceful mornings reading and bird watching, afternoon yoga and beautiful bathtub sunsets from the area. Relaxing by the coast fire and star gazing were highlights too.
Communication was fantastic, Kylie was friendly and accomodating and I had every thing I needed during my stay and more.
A beautiful little space for a a romantic get away or a solo traveler wanting some RnR.

Great Summer Vaycay, Needs Heat for Winter
I stayed at the Colonia Blue tiny house. To originate you to the photos the bathing is a separate hut.
The positive: the bath was all I expected and more.
The negative: Currently Colonia blue does not have heating which may not be an issue as a couple on a get away, however I found it too cold for a winter stay.
One of the huts has a wood burner, just unfortunately no this one. Owners are planning on putting gas heating in, but if you plan to stay in cooler months please check before you book. Owners were easy to deal with when I expressed my concerns and I was satisfied with their solution.
I would stay again, but over warmer Tassy months. Really loved that bath!
