The check-in process made me feel extremely uneasy. There was a sheet at the entrance with instructions on how to access your room... it was left out in the open for anyone to see. This seemed careless to me. They could have easily emailed that information instead of leaving it publicly available.
This place used to have an excellent restaurant on the premises that operated out of a food truck. They also used to include a complimentary breakfast and a s’mores kit with each room, with fires ready for guests on the weekends. That was the past. The present, unfortunately, feels like an absence of those thoughtful touches.
On the positive side, the staff is friendly! A definite plus. The room itself was comfortable, with excellent bedding, though there were a few minor issues. The shower didn’t work properly, with water leaking from the spout. Causing an issue with the hot/cold water. Hot water out of the shower head cold water out of the spout.
The worst part of the stay, however, was the water. I have never tasted worse, it was like drinking pure chlorine. After showering, you smell like you just got out of a pool, and your skin feels tight and dry. The coffee wasn’t any better. Upstairs, it had that same chlorine taste; downstairs, it somehow managed to taste like a mix of chlorine and spoiled apple cider.
This used to be a wonderful spot, but it seems management has lost some of the small details that made it special. Hopefully, it can return to what it once was.

Beautiful property. Only recommendation for an improved stay was to ensure firewood for all of the outdoor fire pits. There wasn’t enough and what was left was restricted to one firepit.

long on style. short on substance.
Tiny room. Holes in the wall. Smoke detector missing. Nowhere to put your stuff. No dresser, no nightstands, no closet, no clothes rack. Just some hooks. Shower's awful. Not even a pot of coffee in the am.
Power outage for 12 hours. no water, no heat, no power. No generator? Absurd. Save your money.

We stumbled across this property when we were looking for a place to spend the night on our way back from Canada. The guest service here was excellent. We were greeted when we arrived and were updated on everything that the property has to offer and shown to our room. We stayed in the main house in the middle, and it was an older completely renovated farmhouse. We did get one of the smaller rooms, but it had a quaint vibe and the decorations and the attention to details were impeccable. There was a kitchen downstairs, and they had apple cider and fresh baked cookies for guests. There were lots of food and drink related items that you could buy at a kiosk. There was a sauna up the hill, but we didn’t really have enough time to enjoy that amenity. There was a fire pit outside along with an area that had goats and ducks that you can feed during the day. I would love to go back and spend more time because the location is in a great area close to Woodstock, Apple Farms, and plenty of nature to explore. Thank you, we will be back soon.

Poor services…pretty much nonexistent..except for texts telling us to check-in. Supposedly was greeted with drinks and cookies. Was offered to throw away trash that I had in my hands. Paid $250..but was told we paid $184. Hand shower, which is fine but no railings to hold on to get in and out of tub. Mattress poor quality No food available Location was quiet and serene.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Even though you’re sent an email stating it’s self check-in, we were greeted by the manager when we arrived. Very friendly, and, she baked cookies for arriving guests! The grounds are beautiful; wrap around porch, hiking trails right out the back of the property. If you’re looking for a unique experience, this is place!

It's a beautiful area and beautiful place. We loved the trail to the orchard and brewery from the property. The manager was super nice, but after the first day, there was never any staff around, although they were reachable by text.
Our cabin was very nice, but it needs better lighting. I wanted to read before going to bed, but the lighting by the loveseat was inadequate and the lights above the bed were way too bright, especially since my husband was trying to sleep.
