Checkin was good,pleasant staff member. Room was fine but could certainly use many simple updates..painting,carpet,etc. Was fine for me i just need a clean safe place to sleep. Morning staff coul be more attentive to customers..all wete on their phones. I've stayed here many times but just keeps getting more rundown it seems..

The room itself was as expected from previous stays but the heating unit was super loud and the bathroom ceiling had water damage everywhere and you could hear dripping on the drywall. Definite mold concern there.
The breakfast was always good but this recent stay was bad.
Half the options weren’t available. No yogurt, no hard boiled eggs, warm milk, no bananas, no hot chocolate (it was 30 degrees so that would have been nice), no muffins, the bagels were hard and the bread was stale.
I always loved staying here but this recent stay gives us no choice but to find another go to place.

Our room was dirty. Burn holes in the carpet. There was a dirty rag left in the bathroom. The room furniture was dated and worn.

I've booked with ******* for decades, and this is the first time I have ever been so disappointed in a hotel that I've had to leave a review. People who give this hotel more than 1 star have not actually stayed there. I've stayed at no name roadside motels that are nicer, cleaner, and more updated than this dump. The staff was not friendly and were on their phones until I spoke to them, at which point it seemed like I was inconveniencing them to do their job. At check in, I asked for a ground floor room but was told the elevator worked. It broke after half my party made it to the 3rd floor. The rest of us are not able to climb that many steps, and it was an argument getting our rooms moved back to the first floor where I requested to begin with. We did try the hot tub. The water looks discolored because the concrete needs a serious scrubbing. It was clean but old. We also couldn't figure out how to access the indoor pool area from inside the hotel. We had to go outside to get into the pool room. In the rooms, there were outlets and lightswitches that didn't work. The last straw and what prompted me to write this was the whole faucet fell off in the tub when my nephew was taking a shower. The bath tub was then unusable because the water shot out of the pipe where the faucet was supposed to be. Breakfast was practically nonexistent. We ended up getting snacks at the 7-11 a block away. Do not stay here if you value your sanity.

Check in, not friendly at all at 10:30 pm. Busy talking to each other. I asked if they had a luggage cart,I knew, been there before and already looked where they are suppose to be. No one wanted to get up off their chair, we carried all our bags in, Room was fine, beds comfortable. Breakfast changed since a few months ago to nothing, Juice,milk, cereal, a complete waste, and why no one was eating breakfast there. No even a waffle maker. This barely made an ok rating. The room was satisfactory, saved the check in and breakfast. Not likely to ever stay there again...

Poor Sanitation: The toilet was unclean upon arrival (containing hair).
Dirty Furnishings: The rug and sofa were heavily stained.
Coffee Maker: The coffee maker was unsanitary, missing its lid, and had caked-on dust in the water container.
Lack of Amenities: The room lacked a blanket on the bed and an essential second trash can in the bathroom.
Bathroom Issues: The shower system was in poor working condition.
Security Concern: A significant security oversight was found: the connecting door between our room and the adjacent one was left unlocked and unbolted.
Staff professionalism and engagement were consistently poor throughout the stay:
Lack of Customer Service: Staff members failed to greet guests upon arrival and did not thank us or acknowledge our departure.
Unresponsive Breakfast Service: The staff appeared "checked out" and were preoccupied (e.g., on their phones in an adjacent room). We had to locate and bring out the serving bowls ourselves. There was a noticeable lack of attention to replenishing items like plates and bagels, which were in low supply.
The breakfast offered was minimal. The options were limited to cereal, a bagel, and the milk and cream cheese were served at room temperature (warm).

I knew this was an old hotel because I used to stay there with my family but I didn’t expect that after checkin the keys wouldn’t work, in fact almost every time we returned we had to get new keys. The first room had nothing working, tv, fridge, microwave…etc. The plugs were all dead. Second room didn’t even have a microwave. Didn’t discover that the plugs were dead til I tried to plug in the C pap when ready for bed. No fault of the hotel but guests were loud….up all night…no sleep. Can’t imagine what their water bill is since it took forever just to take a lukewarm shower. I’m ok with a bagel for breakfast but thought they should have some milk so kids could have cereal. May want to advise staff that having their phones on speaker is really not professional. Didn’t appreciate that the outside backdoors were left unlocked. Guess you get what you pay for!
