I booked on line. I was given the price was fine with it when we checked in (checked in late around 10 we were in town to work) they charged a $200.00 deposit for a local fee! We were tired and there was no other place to stay (We had called around before i booked). Even thought they said we get it back i thought it was an unfair charge! The room smelled they didn't have the air on so it was 80° the pillows were like rocks the tub was dirty and the bathroom vent was clogged with dust. The remote back was broken off and i was afraid they would charge us for that. The breakfast was a poor selection of cereal and little Debby snack cakes. The morning staff seemed friendly but the lady that checked us in was not friendly. I know why she worked nights. There was a light right outside the window that flows into the room. I even put a chair up against the curtain trying to block out light. The glow from the windows and from under the door the rim was lit up all night. The harley rider revving his engine at 1230 was a classic addition to the stay. Will not be staying there ever again.

The 1st room had a brown recluse spider in the sink . The bathtub was dirty and the sheets were dirty. The lady at the front desk gave me a different room across the hall. It was better, but the security latch was missing. It looked like it had been torn off the door. The coffe pot was unuseable. It had a piece missing.

I like staying at Super 8, their prices are very good, but they need to improve on room cleanliness.

No TV for kids and no discounts
There was no TV. No one told me prior to check on and I had 5 kids with me! They wouldn’t discount me or offer any kind of sorry options! Construction workers woke us up with banging on windows and roof at 6am, construction workers were watching my 15 year old daughters and trying to flirt with them! It was not a good family experience

I got bed bugs from this motel. Dirty room and the bed had bed bugs. It smelled musty and was very hot.

The property is need of updates. One bedspread had a hole in it. The smoke detector was missing the battery. The town was under a water boil order that we were not told about. The grounds outside were littered with trash. No elevator. The beds were comfortable. Would not stay here again.

Thieves!
After they stick you in a smoking room when you’ve asked for a non-smoking room, the Super 8 and Quality Inn there next to each other in Harrisburg (owned by the same people ) are quite possibly the worst places to stay in the area. Check your phone, and your alarm clock to make sure they’re plugged in otherwise management deliberately unplugged them to make sure your more likely not to be checked out on time so they can charge you another day. It’s theft.
