My overall experience with Waldpark was positive. The staff was friendly despite the language barrier, and getting a ski pass at the hotel was very convenient. A pretty big drawback was the low-slanted sealing on the top-floor rooms. I could only stand tall on one side of the room, and the rest of the time, I had to be hunched over. Outside the hotel, it was slippery, and some salt or gravel would have been helpful for traction.
