Falling apart
Our room smelled musty and it looked like all kinds of repairs that were needed were just painted over. For example, bathroom ceiling tile frames were all rusted and showing through the paint.
It rained pretty hard our last night there and water started pouring in from under the AC unit on the exterior wall. Why the room smelled now made sense. We had to ask to switch rooms.
We moved to an identical room right above the one we were in. We noticed water dripping from the window down on the ledge on the inside. At this point it was late at night so we just put towels in the window instead of moving again.
I’m sure all that water in the walls will not be properly addressed and will end up with mold. Would not recommend.

Breakfast was not good, the waffles were ok but it was a long line to make the waffles as it was only one waffle maker. The waffle maker started sticking really bad and after some time the worker put out the non stick spray. The room was ok, kind of hot throughout the night. The tub was peeling in the bathroom and the sink drained slowly due to items in the drain.

Breakfast was good, staff seemed friendly enough WiFi wasn't reliable all the time in my room. Being on the border of Eastern and Central Time Zones was a little confusing but the hotel was nice. Comfortable bed.

Room was clean & staff helpful when needed for the most part, but issues I asked about shouldn't have been issues. (TV remote that only partially worked; no soap provided in the room; a plumbing issue that I presumed the housekeeping staff would take care of when I mentioned it on my way out for the day, but they left for me to deal with when I returned.)

This is a pretty nice hotel for the price. It’s clean and in decent repair. Everything I used worked and was impressed with the TV service, although the television was small. Continental breakfast was normal fare. I like eggs and the scrambled were better than most.

Close to several resturaunts and convenience store. Close to attractions! Easy accessibility. Had to hunt down the front desk person. To check us in, he was cleaning the pool and didn't have his phone with him. The floor in our room didn't look dirty but walking around in there barefoot we noticed when we showered that the bottoms of our feet were black.

Louder than Life, early morning.
Booked two nights but wouldn't be able to make it on the first night until 4am that morning. I made the call before booking and the General Manager made it work out perfectly for us. I'll be back for Louder Than Life next year and I plan on using this hotel.

Extremely sub-par
Extremely sub-par hotel & service. Room was blah, free breakfast was sad, there seemed to be only one person working...front desk, phones, breakfast service. Toilet clogged and we had to hunt down a plunger ourselves. All hotels in this area are bottom-tier, unfortunately.
