Clean rooms and entry ways. Staff seems to be to busy on phone to even look up when we returned after dinner.

The pool was small and seemed dirty. It was very slippery. I did not see much of the staff but when we checked in the front desk guy was very helpful. The property seems old in some areas. There was GF options at breakfast 👍

We had a late check in after the Chiefs game, and check in was quick and easy. The room was very clean and well maintained. We were however woken up right before 8 am by the housekeeping crew cleaning the room next door, and other rooms close by. It was pretty loud, and could hear their conversations outside the door. Honestly, that would be the only complaint. We made our way down to breakfast at 9, and normally with most other hotels, if you come during the last half of breakfast it's slim pickings! We were pleasantly surprised that everything was fully stocked, and 2 ladies were very much on top of it! Check out was easy, and we would definitely stay again (if we know we need to leave early and not sleep in 😆)!

Tried to check in to our room and was told no, we can't because the internet is down. I did the online check in and that was not good enough because I booked through *******. We asked if we would be able to check in that evening and were told they can't guarantee it. I asked for a refund so we could book another hotel and were told we need to ask *******. ******* refunded the amount even though the hotel did not refund our money. The management was very unprofessionalessional.She told me they were not able to call us if a room was ready because their phones were down all while she was on her phone! What an awful experience. Went to Hampton Inn nearby and had a great stay there. Luckily we found that place last minute or we might not have had a room that night. The worst part is that they cancel out our reservation for four nights and rented out the room. So basically they were double charging both us and whoever ultimately booked the room. Went to the website for the Belton Fairfield and there is no way to contact the customer service as well.The only heroes in this story are ******* and The Hampton Inn who made some room at the Inn.

Just okay. Not awful!
The coffee was awful in the breakfast room. You either got bold and it was extremely bitter and strong, or you got decaf which was bearable. Breakfast choices were your typical instant eggs with thin pieces of ham, waffle maker, muffins and cereal, and fruit. The fruit was very fresh. The bed was just okay comfort wise. The too. Had a funny powdery smell which we didn’t care for. Hallways smelt better.

All was good. Felt very clean. We had a loud rattle when the air conditioner ran which downed out the tv and definitely need a upgrade to the pillows. We were in a King room with 4 tiny flat pillows.

A few challenges in my stay.
1. The refrigerator turned off every night. After the first night, staff came to flip the breaker back on & it came back on. Then it was off again the next morning & I just let them know about it when I checked out. I had to toss the food I had in the fridge. So not happy!!
2. The bathroom door would not lock. The door handle mechanism was so cheaply made that the button would not stay engaged when you push it in. The whole handle wobbles.
3. The peep hole in the door was installed off-kilter & would not stay closed based on gravity (as it's made to do). Of course this means anyone in the hallway could look into the room, YIKES!! I had to put a piece of paper in the hole & then close the cover disk to hold it.
4. Lousy tv channel options, ~ just boring mainstream media channels & Hollywood garbage shows. There was 1 history type educational show & even that was all hype & no substance. So disappointing.
