Did not eat breakfast. Counter help seemed confused about my ******* booking. Appeared to take picture of my credit card. I immediately asked for it back. Put fraud alert on my credit card.

The breakfast options were OK but not stocked. ONE piece of wheat bread, 6 napkins, maybe a cup of milk in a jugs for cereal, table not wiped off and tables wobbley. This was at 7am!

The overall condition of this hotel was good considering it is a very old building. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful in answering questions regarding the area. My only complaint would be that I booked a two night stay and when I left for my dad's funeral and came back my key card didn't work even though I left.A do not disturb sign on the doorknob.They still went in and cleaned the room. The gentleman at the counter when I got back was very nice about getting me.A new key card that worked. So obviously the words "Do Not Disturb", do not mean the same in another language.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay away from Sioux Falls, it's only a half hour drive. And the price was affordable.

Ok, hotel that does the trick for a night or two.
Not the cleanest of hotels. Room was fine. Stairways had pile of dirt on it for two days. Staff poke in at 8 am without knocking on door.

NEVER AGAIN
To begin, there was no one at the desk. I had to call a number, per the sign by the phone, and it rang in the back office. The office door was open, and it was totally dark. No one was back there working. Sleeping, I'm sure. Taking an afternoon nap, I'm sure, but definitely not working. That attendant was also very unfriendly. Now, I acknowledge early check-in is not an entitlement. It is not a right. However, I travel a lot, and I have never been denied early check-in. I especially have never been told there was a $30 charge for early check-in. Unbelievable! Further, I had requested a king. I have no problem with two queens, and I have accepted that many times elsewhere. I just thought I would free up that double queen room for others. So, after getting a late lunch while I waited until the official check-in time, I go to check in and I'm told my room with a king is not ready yet. So, I was denied early check-in and come back only to be denied the room I requested. I was given the excuse of someone showing up late for work, but that's no excuse to a paying customer. I was also very disappointed there are no in-room coffee makers. It is annoying to me I have to go out the lobby and MAYBE be able to get some coffee. I say maybe because, believe it or not, well into the posted breakfast hours, at 7am, the coffee bullet was empty and there was NO ONE attending to business there. Moving forward, I will sleep in a ditch before I stay at another Super 8.

Juice machine broken for whole week. Most days no oatmeal was available. Basically waffle or toast no sweet rolls or bagels. The same sorry looking apples and 2 cereals. Really dont understand why the same people have been allowed to run the motel for so long. Unfriendly and he likes to make out he dont know english to well but we know he does. Front desk very seldom staffed.
