Scuffs all over every door and a dirty sock in the room. Just looking for a clean place to stay for a work trip. Would NOT recommend staying here! Stayed two nights and moved hotels.

We came here for family weekend to visit our student at MSU. It is a good hotel option for families. It’s only a few miles from campus and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and in good order. Breakfast was also good.

It was a great quiet location close to Morehead State. We were there for a game and it was a nice place to stay. Highly recommend.

Be careful with inflated ratings
I’m not sure why this location has received such high ratings in the past, but it’s an old building that has been somewhat refurbished. I guess I expected more with the high ratings. I have no complaints with the staff; Velocity was kind and helpful. Our room had table lamp cords that could not reach the electrical outlets, a tv remote that didn’t work and the room had water leaking from the ceiling onto a small couch. We had to be moved to another room. I certainly was not impressed with the breakfast. It was small, had very few options, and they ran out of eggs and sausage while we were there. I could still recommend this hotel but not with a high rating.
