Angel our airport shuttle driver was knowledgeable about things to do and places to see to the two women who helped us at the front desk. Jorge who took our luggage so we could get something to eat while our room was getting cleaned to Luis our taxi driver who took us to the grocery store to get supplies for our stay Marisca the drink server around the pool to the fabulous service we received from Melissa Nieves at the beach to Joel who was very informative about Puerto Rico. Everyone was super great and courteous. Hola and mucho gracias to the staff at marqueritaville ♥️♥️. Beautiful Bella grandiose and mucho gracias for the birthday surprise cake ♥️♥️♥️

Adult pool closed the entire time we are staying due to replacing roofs if cabanas - drunken people at 5 oclock.somewhere pool like to torture iguanas for fun which resort does nothing about so our only option was the kiddies pool which as a couple trying for a romantic getaway doesnt seem appropriate - which half is also under construction with a lot if construction noise- beach is beautiful but our options are seriously limited and had be been made aware of most amenities closed would not have booked

We so enjoy going to the 5 O’clock Somewhere bar to hang out as Christian is our favorite bartender/server. He always recognizes our faces and just so pleasurable. He makes us feel so special!! We will be back as our experience here war fantastic!! Today we had the pleasure of seeing a server name Naomi from the Tiki bar. She was our server at the pool near 5 O’clock Somewhere. Naomi is so pleasant, always has a smile and she stopped several times to ask if we were all set or if we needed anything.

Girls trip to Margaritaville! It is a beautiful location right on the beach with lots of food options. I had a presidential suite and it came with a cabana! That was great to relax in and have food and drinks delivered.

Joel and leeway at the beach of the rio mar were helpful and courteous. The carne asada was tasty. Carlos in the marabella for breakfast buffet was outstanding.

The resort was really clean as expected. There are not many resorts in PR so prices are typically high when I compare them to other Spanish speaking countries I've visited. As a reference I normally stay at the Autograph brand by Marriott during my travels. I was excited to see a trusted brand for a great price and booked my stay. The staff was great. The swim-up pool was nice however I would recommend adding more upbeat music from genres like plena, salsa, reggaeton, and afro-beats to the playlist. Marisol at the front desk, Eduardo, and Ms. Williams at the Roost Costal Kitchen were all exceptional. The rooms were clean, nice in size and our view was lovely. Pools close at 10pm so that's a plus! Since the pandemic, a lot of resorts still close their pools around 7/8pm.

My husband and I always get couples massages whenever we travel and have had them in many different locations around the world. We were looking forward to our massages at the Margaritaville in Puerto Rico as we had a nice experience the last time we were here in 2021. We were disappointed to learn the spa was closed for renovations but were advised that we could have a couples massage in our room. We scheduled that service and were unsure how the experience would go. Gabriel and Lynnette showed up at our room on time and set up their tables quickly and advised of the services they could provide. We got the 60 minute, deep tissue massages and I added on the extra foot treatment. I am rarely so pleased as I was with the service Lynnette provided. Her pressure and technique was perfect. She thoroughly spent time on each muscle group and spent extra time on the areas I asked her to concentrate on. I wished she lived closer to me so I could become her regular customer. Overall, they were both experienced and professional and I highly recommend Lynnette and Gabriel’s services.

Wonderful, relaxing stay in PR! Beautiful grounds, pools and beach. Very clean all around and 1 BR suite was quiet and comfortabl. The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well--Shout out to Jesse James and Dallismar! Resort is across the street from El Yunque and just down the road from Luquillo Beach and the kioskos (amazing food and drinks right on the beach). Can't say enough about it!

We’re just finishing up a great week at Margaritaville Rio Mar. This is a beautiful property with lovely landscaping, three nice pools and a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed playing in the waves when it was calm enough. Our timeshare suite was roomy but in need of updating. I was told they are renovating the hotel rooms and will be renovating the timeshare suites soon. The staff were generally friendly and the service was mostly fine. We did have a bit of trouble at Roots Coastal Kitchen. The room was cold and noisy, so we weren’t very comfortable. After 15 minutes of sitting at our table with no acknowledgment we left and went back to Five O’Clock Somewhere bar and grill. We really liked this spot and had several dinners there. Drinks and food were delicious and service was pretty good. We did the timeshare presentation and got $125 room credit, which paid for our parking. It was a typical timeshare presentation, went on longer than the promised 90 minutes, but wasn’t too pushy and they accepted our no pretty easily. A couple of hours wasted but worth it for the room credit. We had some issues with our air conditioning but it was fixed after a couple of visits by maintenance. Special shout out to Bianca, who we met on our first evening at the resort. She is a biologist who does nature walks but also helps out at the pools. We enjoyed chatting with her! Overall it was a very good week.
