We understand this place isn't everyone's cup of tea but for the price and facilities it was reasonable. This was one of the two accommodation options on the small island of Fulidhoo we found that supplies a communal washing machine to guests at no extra charge, which was extremely convenient for us. The family who run it were helpful in offering to carry our luggage and found an extra sheet for us when we asked. The room is very basic but the air con worked well. The bathroom is a bit odd, but most Maldivian bathrooms are. They were flexible about having an early breakfast for us in line with our scuba diving schedule and the Chinese family who run this are spear fishers and for a price can prepare an amazing Chinese fish feast which even my husband who normally dislikes seafood enjoyed. This place works for seasoned travellers who are just looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep at night and do their laundry and plan to fill up their days scuba diving or boating. It is not a good option for people wanting a luxury style escape. There are several other options on the island if you want premium luxury. The price of this place reflects that.

The major problem with this place is the lack of communication. The receptionist was unaware of my arrival even though I called and messaged him several times prior to checking in. When asked his reply was 'I don't know your number', imagine that! The breakfast is mediocre, the room I was given was really small. To sum up, stay elsewhere!
