We arrived at the Love Hotel in Murdo and the entire place looked deserted, not a single car in the parking lot, no staff, no lights, absolutely nobody at the front desk. We tried calling, ringing the bell, waiting… nothing. It honestly looked abandoned. Which come to find out, locals from the town said it had been vacant for the last 3 months!
Because there was literally NO ONE there to check us in, we ended up having to find another hotel late at night and then, to top it all off, they charged us a late fee for not checking in.
We paid for a room we never got to use AND had to pay for a second hotel just so we had somewhere to sleep. Completely unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and stay anywhere else.

where to start? not only is this hotel ABANDONED, but apparently has been for months according to locals. even if it weren’t abandoned, from the outside, it looked very run down and not well taken care off. i’d choose zero if i could.

The towels and bathroom were dirty, the tub didn't drain, the bedding smelled moldy, and there was no soap for the sink. It looked like someone had cleaned fish in the sink, and spattered the tiles with fish guts. The mattress was awful. I can go on, but at least the heat works.

The room was clean. But some of the blunds were broken, letting in light all night from the sidewalk.
One of the two beds had only the fitted sheet and cover.

This proper was closed. Had to get rooms at another hotel. Don't change me for this one and take it off your listing. Thanks Steve

Boarded up amd its a ghost town. Asked other people from the area they said once or twice a month a couple vans go there and thats it other than that closed. Sketchy!!!!

They are closed!!!! Do not book here. Booked it day of, arrived to find office closed and locked, no keys or message to me on how to get in my room. SCAM!!!!
