The room was clean, our drain didn’t drain, we ran out of hot water, and our keys stopped working. But the bed was good!

The entire hotel was dirty, there was dirt and debris all over the floors, and dead crickets on the floor in the gym. The air conditioning was broken in the gym.
When I checked into my room staff was quick and friendly but When I got to my room there were no washcloths or a hand towel. Breakfast was fine and parking was good.

The premises, outside and inside was OVERRUN with "crickets". We were put in a room on the 3rd floor, (I suspect why). The 1st night all was okay, but by 2nd & 3rd nights our room was infested with crickets. I talked to front desk, attendant named Roy, he very nonchalantly said "yes it gets that way at this time of year, there is nothing they can do about it." WRONG ANSWER...there is nothing that you WILL do about it. I requested an adjustment to our bill, and he said he can't do anything because we booked it through a 3rd party. On a small note...Housekeeping forgot to leave us towels, etc.

It was uncomfortably HOT in the elevator and hall. Like no one keeps their house this temp so we knew there was no way our room would be cold. It wasn’t as hot at the hall but didn’t sleep with the covers on. Everything was kind of bare minimum. Which is odd for a Holliday Inn Express.

The property was not maintained. In the bathroom the sink facet was missing the set screw. The air conditioner leaked water on the carpet. Toilet paper holder was missing. Holes in the wall. In the hall molding had fallen down. The milk was spoiled at breakfast.

Okay, but have had better.
The bed was a little soft, but okay. We had a difficult time figuring out the shower, but figured it out. The microwave was not clean, and the refrigerator froze our bottles of milk. There was no temperature control on it.

Staff was great and took care of us, but third floor hallway was smelly and hot. The room we were given smelled like mold with a puddle of water under the a/c. Second room was ok but it took awhile to cool. Hallway was dirty. Lobby is nice. Breakfast was good.

AC leaked water into room, hair in sink, elevator was filthy, room smelled like mold, wall ac thermostat did not work, tub stopper did not hold water. Staff ignored me at desk until I interrupted them. I could go on.....
