A truly fantastic gem of a place. From the comfort of the bedroom to the quality of the breakfast and dinner to the overall warmth and charm of the hosts. The location was perfect for visits the stones in Avebury and rambling the countryside. We will look to return with our children too as they also had a family room available. Oh and not to mention the roll top bath - absolute bliss to read my book!

I would have loved to give this B&B a really good rating. Cody was super-friendly and nice to chat with, the breakfast was excellent - a wide choice for everyone and good quality products and the location near Avebury is good too. The room was big and the bathroom huge, but when we arrived it was almost 0 degrees outside (after Christmas) and a wind was howling. The room hadn't been heated up at all (despite having given them the info when we would arrive), we had to ask for an extra duvet and it took hours to get the room nice and cosy on a Saturday night. It's a huge room with a gable and not much insulation. When it finally got warm, it was all good, though. It just shouldn't have been like that on arrival. The room is very bare (given the fact that it's not at a super-cheap rate), some basic things like milk or herbal tea options in the room with the coffee/tea were missing (they were available downstairs). The coffee and tea machines worked, but I would have preferred a normal kettle, also for filling our hot water bottles that we did need on this occasion because of the cold room. There was only one hand towel for two people and hardly any shower gel (a started mini bottle). No full-length mirror and really bare white walls. Only one side lamp - a bit awkward when one needs to stagger out of bed in the middle of the night in the dark. With a few touches, this could be an amazing B&B, and I hope the owners will get there soon.

Cody and team are fabulous. We had lamb shank for dinner, excellent. Breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice. The room was comfortable, overall a welcoming local gem and convenient to Avebury. Enjoy.

Wholly agree with all previous reviews. Lovely hosts for whom nothing to help us was too much trouble. Big room, spotless, with bath and shower. Outstanding breakfast. Please note the attached pub is only open Thurs - Sun so for food you’ll need to go to Avebury, or the excellent Italian (Strada) in Broad Hinton on Mon - Weds.

A wonderful experience. We were greeted by a waggy-tailed ball of welcome (Maia), the doggy. The room was clean, bright and fully stocked (coffee, hot chocolate, cold drinks). The 'mini bar' was included in the price of the room! (No extra costs). The breakfast menu is extensive, both full-English and continental. Ben and Cody and mum are very friendly, helpful and accomodating. It is a family run business and they treated us like family! (Ask Ben about the spooky stuff). Little Mathilda is an absolute delight. Don't forget to say high to Dave, the tortoise. The building is surrounded by peace, fields, trees and restfulness. Ask Ben about getting into Avebury. I can't wait to go back. Hopefully, I'll make it during one of their many events. There is also a pub (The New Inn) attached. I love this place!

Very comfortable room but perhaps another chair, very clean bed. Lovely breakfast and lovely couple. Only downside was the very messy entrance room, really OFF putting when you walk in, a little care would make a difference. We really appreciated the water but, said USE by May. Great potential. We wish you luck 😉😉 but pick the DOGS deposits up in long grass. People need to be responsible 🤔

The owner is lovely and very helpful with recommendations. The room was huge. We had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom larger than many NYC apartments. It was very comfortable and there was a place to relax and play games before bed. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. I believe they are opening a restaurant at some point, and that would be worth it. Everyone was lovely, and they gave us a care package to take on the road. Also, it was very peaceful and quiet.
