Nice quiet place with lovely scenery and very comfortable rooms and large beds. The pool was a decent size, but the hot tub was not warm when we visited. Helpful staff as there are limiited dining options, so be prepared to drive somewhere to eat. Not easy to spot the entrance to the hotel. It is accessible via the double wooden door and an intercom as seen from google street view of the address. Would recommend for couples.

We had booked our stay in advance and when we arrived it was as if they were not even expecting us, upon booking in The young receptionist informed us we would be served our breakfast in our room, I did not argue this point until we had checked out our room. Once we had seen our room which had a large bed and a very nice bathroom I went back to reception and told the young lady that it would not be appropriate to be served breakfast in Our room as there were no chairs or a table and we would not be eating sat on the bed! She conceded and said oh ok you can eat in the dining room. This was a most bizarre situation and I think it was because we were the only people booked in to the hotel and they did not want to have open up the restaurant area just for us. A very disappointing stay as the hamlet and the hotel itself are gorgeous! On a good note the village bar/restaurant was lovely, very nice people and lovely food!
