Although taking bookings the lodge had a closed feel about it, and an air of dilapidation. Pool was shut then when told it was working it was filthy and had not been filtered. Set menu for dinner for 20dollars USD, half of which was unavailable and when arrived was very poor, as was breakfast.

Friendly efficient reception. Clean comfortable accommodation and beautiful views from the restaurant patio, where we had drinks. Dinner was delicious and expertly served by Yolanda. We were served a packed breakfast for our early journey onwards. A great stay for visiting the magnificent Matopos!
