从多塞特郡驱车四小时后，我们临时决定来纽基住一晚。我们一直很喜欢纽基这个地方，然而这次入住体验却糟糕透顶，简直是一场噩梦。我强烈建议大家千万不要选择这家酒店！最初与酒店老板“西蒙”沟通时，他信誓旦旦地保证我们预订的是“海景豪华双人间”，房间干净整洁。然而，房间状况极其糟糕，卫生状况极差，淋浴盘里到处都是蜘蛛网和之前留下的头发。更糟糕的是，我们入住期间一直下雨，雨水从腐烂的木门缝渗进浴室后，我们才恍然大悟。西蒙信誓旦旦地保证说漏水是刚发生的，他会马上处理。但我还是把照片留给读者们自己判断吧。从木头的状况和透过门框透进来的光线来看，情况完全不是那么回事。漏水不仅出现在马桶周围，还把地板都浸透了。退房时，我试图向前台的一位男士反映我的问题。我猜想他的英语可能不是母语，因为他完全听不懂我在说什么，也完全没有提供任何解决方案，更谈不上理解我糟糕的入住体验。他试图联系“经理”，但经理既不接电话也不开门。我又打电话给西蒙，他理解了事情的来龙去脉，并表示如果我们不给他差评（他认为这是“恶意破坏”），他愿意赔偿我们，并向我保证他会让“经理”给我回电话。又过了四个小时，我再次致电西蒙询问何时能接到电话，他却只是简单地说“你住在这里，所以肯定不会太糟”，仿佛凌晨一点的暴雨都比这糟糕。他最后说了句“随便你吧”，然后就挂断了电话。非常不专业。

Cannot recommend this place enough! The room was amazing, very clean and suitable for a family of 4. We were let down with our accommodation, I called up Shore Surf Lodge and they stepped in and helped out and at a decent price as well! The gentleman there couldn't have been more helpful, always greeted us with a smile and after we checked out and whilst we was loading the car, he even brought our girls a free freshly made milk shake for them to enjoy. Little acts of kindness go a long way!! We will definitely be coming back to stay in the future. X

We booked last thing after a 10 hour drive an have to say it was a great stay they were amazing with us very polite and welcoming even through we didn’t arrive intill 11 at night they went out their way to speak to us an, the rooms were great we booked a family room and a double room they were very comfortable an close by to all amenities

We stayed here for new year's eve in a double room. The staff was really welcoming and friendly, comfortable bed, shared toilet was clean and the room came with all the basics. The lodge is close to the town centre- within walking distance. Nice place to stay for a couple nights.
