The room was okay, with one comfortable chair and one desk and chair (€321.30). There was enough storage for one night, and it was quiet. It was also very hot, with no apparent air conditioning. We left the balcony door open all night and it was comfortable. It was also quiet. Having the balcony was nice, and the view of the park was lovely. The day we arrived, it was sunny and too hot to sit on the balcony. The bathroom had two sinks and an Italian shower. That meant no door or screen so the floor got soaked when we showered. The toilet was separate. It was so high that our feet dangled and that made sitting on it difficult. The breakfast offered was awful. No fresh fruit offered, no eggs offered, no freshly squeezed juice offered. Only carbohydrates, jams, dried cereal, dried fruit, and yogurt. Dimitri insisted on scrambled eggs, and they were made and brought. The café a longe was okay. We protested the €27 EACH charge for what they called “breakfast” and the woman at reception reduced the charge to €10.
