Yes, although we are near the park, it is about a 45min drive the Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive entrances in Luray or Stanardsville. For your next visit with us, there are restaurants in the town of Madison that is about a 10-15 minute drive from the lodge, as well as Culpeper or Ruckersville that are about 30 minutes away. It sounds like you may have stayed in our Poplar lodge which are our smaller rooms. Rooms up on the hill in our Ridgecrest or Hilltop Lodges are bigger as they have two queen beds, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee makers in the room. I'm sorry to hear about the tire and guests around you disrupting your rest. We do have cabins on property that can be more secluded and less noisy. We hope to have you stay with us again and give us another try. Thank you, The GML Team
