I stayed at the **Grand Islander Hotel** from **August 22–24, 2025**, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff seemed very inexperienced—when I asked basic questions, they were often unfamiliar with the hotel’s own rules and policies. I specifically requested a refrigerator in my room to store medication, but I was told there were none available. The only option I was given was to place my medication in the staff refrigerator until one opened up. For a hotel of this price point, this is not acceptable—especially since they do not allow guests to bring in coolers, and the rooms are not equipped with microwaves. When I asked to speak to the manager on duty, I had to wait **45 minutes** for her to arrive because she was not even on-site—this on a busy weekend when leadership presence should have been a priority. To make matters worse, while I was waiting, I noticed a child playing behind the front desk, which made the whole operation feel very unprofessional. The rooms themselves are extremely outdated and in need of renovation. The television in my room did not work, and for a rate of **$299 per night with a two-night minimum**, you would expect at least modern amenities and quality hospitality services. Instead, the overall impression was one of neglect and lack of value. While **Put-in-Bay** is a great spot for a day trip or short visit, I strongly recommend choosing another hotel if you plan to stay overnight. The Grand Islander Hotel simply does not live up to its price or promises, and there are much better quality accommodations on the island.

Property is older. Location is excellent no car or golf cart needed. Sink did not drain they tried to fix it and offered another room but we choose to say. Night club is loud and their customers can easily access the hotel hallways so not very safe

Def gave us a spot to sleep for the night. Motel style room, but super convenient to downtown and the pool bar!

I've stayed at other nearby hotels and this was a pleasant change. Quieter hallways, convenient location, easy parking for guests only. Rooms do not have microwaves or fridges though. Would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived the elevator was broken. We asked the manager about it and she told us we had to carry all of our left age up the stairs and did not offer any sort of assistance. Then we get to our floor and there’s a big sign that the ice machine was broken. Finally we arrived at our rooms (we had a total of 3 rooms booked). It was about 85 degrees out and the air conditioning units were turned completely off in all 3 rooms.

The beds are terribly soft, unsleepable, they charge a $200.00 deposit upon arrival, with 10 to 14 day before return.
They did not tidy up the room and supply clean towels the nest day. We left before staying the second night, they would not refund our second night but the condition of the room and crappy TV we felt like we were in a third world country. DO NOT STAY HERE, !!!!!!!

Property is dated but clean. Beds are super comfy so that is a huge win for me!
房间内没有冰箱,大厅里没有制冰机,他们不允许在房间里放冰柜。其他地方有更多但更便宜的。
