Gorgeous location.. but we were baffled by the security camera pointed at the spa.. inappropriate unnecessary and creepy. (This could have been placed on the exterior cover corner and still provided footage of entry and drive.) The tools for cooking/eating were mismatched and sparse at best and the cooking knife handles broken and a safety hazard. One bed was unusable as the rain leaked through the ceiling and above a window wetting it through the night. We had previously recommended this accommodation.. but will now be warning folks not to stay.. especially after our family were pettily charged excessively for one accidenttal breakage of a mismatched glass and refill of the tub. Such a shame and real disappointment for us and our international family visiting.

Amazing attention to detail for a specail retreat. Enjoyed the fire, views, quiet and spa. Nice to have an electric lazyboy and smart tv. Cooking facilities are good. Bathrrom os lovely. Blinds could be improved, getting a little tired but servicable enough. A fabulous relaxing stay, i have recommeded to friends, and I'm keen to return myself!

What a venue. My hubby and I stayed for 2 nights this past weekend and we loved every single minute of our stay. We stayed in Suite C and the unit was great, clean and tidy, and the private spa pool was absolutely AMAZING. We will definitely be back. It was the most perfect romantic getaway!!! Shelley was so, very helpful and sorted a slight booking issue out for us quickly and efficiently. Hats off to Shelley and the venue.

Beautiful secluded get-away
My wife and I decided to stay at the Coastal Chalets because of its remoteness and proximity to the far north. We found the place beautifully maintained, with a lot of privacy, quiet and beautiful scenery. We were in Suite C. It was spacious with a luxurious shower, full kitchen, bbq, spa pool and other amenities. We found it was a perfect spot for a romantic get-away.
They're also a stone's throw to some truly excellent Indian food ("Spice Grill" in nearby Kaeo). Great place for dinner if you don't feel like cooking.
We also found the manager was very responsive to the couple of questions we had. Highly recommended!
