Maybe look at having food available for travellers. Nothing fancy but simple ones eg hot chips, nuggets, sausage and bread.

Great place as a base to explore the walks in Cania Gorge. Large caravan park with large sites. Lots of wildlife hanging around. Enjoyed being able to have a fire at night. Friendly staff and good coffee at reception. Such a peaceful place. They offer meals on Friday and Saturday nights.

Beautiful position but very small. In the bathroom area you can hardly move.

Sunny's 1st trip.
Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We were treated to fish and chips from the galley. Just the thing after a long day on the road and they were delicious. Good value and serving size. The park needed some work done to the access roads to the cabins. Luckily we had a 4wd or else we could not have accessed our cabin. All staff were pleasant and helpful. A great stay.

We were in the area as we wanted to do a walk in Cania Gorge National Park. It is located basically at the end of the valley before you get to Lake Cania. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival. We stayed in an air conditioned cabin which was very clean, tidy and well appointed. As it was 36 degrees we went for a swim in the pool. It was very refreshing. The kids were having fun in the water park. At 4.30 each day they feed the Rainbow Lorikeets and Cockatoos. It was so much fun! The bed was comfortable and the park was very quiet. In the morning I drove out to the lake to take a sunrise photo. After leaving we went and explored Cania Gorge NP. Great place to stay and great value.

We’ve stayed at Big 4/Breeze Cania Gorge a few times now, from tenting to the hillside cabins, and on this occasion it was off, it seems to have lost its vibe. The bird life was very quiet, not like recent visits where birds where everywhere all the time, the bird feeding was not like it used to be, just standing around and waiting for action but nothing this time. Very disappointed. It’s recently had a change of management, which the park workers are polite and friendly, and most of the reception ladies. Fire pits are available but have an order in by 3:30, we were 10 mins late and the staff just shrugged their shoulders. The leaflet stated wood orders to be in by 3:30, not the fire pit order. Email acknowledgement could be improved also. The toilet/shower facilities were generally clean, good hot water in the showers however the temp fluctuated often as people were using them and making the shower burning to luke warm, so be mindful when others are using also! The pool/water park was busy, very cold even in 30deg days. The ground surrounding the pool should be considered for some maintenance or upgrade, it can be very slippery!! We saw multiple slips. The jumping pillow and tennis courts were very popular, but again saw no one playing the frisbee golf, this area could be revamped feels very under-utilised. Pizza night was great and convenient filled the spot, 9” pizzas varied from $10-25 and also 15” pizzas varied from $16-32. Orders have to be in early however. Coffees also available from reception. There is a little convenience store in reception but the shelves were not stocked, only 50% full. The park was very dry, desperately need some rain, and the nearby dam only has 26% capacity and again did not deliver with any red claw activity. The national park walks near by are great, however again very dry, no water running through the creeks. Dripping Rock however was surprisingly still dripping! We’ll look to return again in the future but not in a hurry due to this underwhelming visit.

If you want to get away from the city hustle n bustle, this place is for you. Tranquil, child friendly parrots and kangaroos and close to mountain walks and lake.
Very welcoming staff, cabins may need a bit of a revamp but everything else makes up for it! Would def recommend and will be returning:)

What a lovely quiet peaceful place. Had the opportunity of staying here for 3 nights in our van. Staff are very welcoming hospitable and knowledgeable. Park and amenities are very clean a credit to all the staff. Pools and slide are great for all ages to cool off in on a hot day. Huge jumping pillow. Plenty of activities to keep you occupied or just sit back and enjoy the bush setting and the surrounding wildlife. Don't miss Saturday night pizza. You won't be disappointed. We had a great stay. Thank you. Ray & Jodi
