If you have ANY kind of mobility issues, call the hotel directly to request a first floor room. We were unaware that there was a non-functioning elevator (ADA non-compliant and ongoing for several years apparently) in our building and, after a heart attack in January, the steep steps to our third floor room were quite a challenge for my husband. Also, parking may be a 2-3 block walk.

Additionally, we offer an ADA-accessible room on Fair Street requires no stairs at all and features a dedicated handicap parking space directly outside the room for easy access.For any guests with mobility issues, we kindly recommend calling the hotel directly prior to booking so our team can ensure we assign the most accessible room available. The room was clean, but the external hallway carpet was old and dirty. There wasn't an elevator...really, and I asked for a late check out, and they gave me a half hour....really.

Regarding your note about the hallway carpet — each of our properties features custom-designed carpeting to complement the unique character of the building. Because these pieces are produced in small batches, refreshing or replacing them can take a bit of extra time in order to maintain the level of detail and quality we strive for.As for the late check-out, you departed on a Friday, which is our busiest day for arrivals, and our housekeeping team needs adequate time to prepare rooms for incoming guests. While we try to be as flexible as possible, our ability to extend check-outs is limited on high-turnover days. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as it helps us continue refining the guest experience. We hope to welcome you back for an even more enjoyable stay in the future.

No elevator. If you’re not physically fit, the three flights of stairs were a bit too much for us in your stay you will receive either one free appetizer or one free dessert. But please check in first before you dine there. We dined first at the hotel. I ordered one appetizer $15 and it was not refunded. On the bill we did get seven dollars removed but not on the appetizer. Two of the towels in the bathroom had brown spots on them. Make sure you get there early to eat because most of the things you really want to eat was sold out so you needed to settle. It’s a great location right in town walking distance. I didn’t like the fact that you had to park at a different location away from the hotel and take your luggage and belongings and walk back to the hotel. That was a bit of an inconvenience, especially for the price of the hotel
