As you mention it is not as commercialised as Franschhoek or Stellenbosch, but as the fourth oldest town in SA it has a charm all of its own. As you mention, Church Street was the original street of the town, and despite a devastating earthquake in 1969, it is still resplendent with the most heritage properties in one street, in the entire country. Well done to the chef and the team! Last night (26 Nov.) we sampled the new Summer 2025 menu, needless to say we were thoroughly impressed. The servings were welcoming, however for us, the springbok carpaccio, Asian dumplings, bao buns, and the pork belly stood out, oh and the line fish as well. The flavors were well-balanced with the presentation to match! The creativity of the menu stood out is and we’re already planning our return with the rest of our families. Please keep the tuna, pork belly, dumplings and bao buns on standby, we’ll be back soon! Regarding the staff, they were friendly, helpful, and our waitress made the experience memorable. Thank you guys, see you soon!

Had read multiple reviews of the hotel so to be fair was expecting something wow. Sadly this was not the case- @4k per night don’t think it’s worth the money spent. We had the honeymoon suite - the linen leaves much to be desired Brown / old and smelly - definitely not what you would expect. The towels had a terrible smell we had to ask them to change it, as it smelt terrible. The hotel can be a real charm-unfortunately this is not maximized. A lot of employees all hovering around, dimly lit reception. The restaurant does get 7/10 for service and food was not bad either.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They moved me to the annex to avoid stairs. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The breakfast and dinner were very good.

I absolutely loved my stay. I have in my view, but I the staff is what makes this the best hotel. Amazing caring staff. Excellent location and amazing rooms.

Great location and the staff was friendly and handled everything well. The Pizza was amazing!!! Nothing of this world. Tessa makes the best pizza! Or should I say Chef Tessa🙌 Would definitely recommend that people should come here and enjoy please. Amazing! Thank you so much and if you happen to be in Tulbagh go to Tulbagh Hotel and order some Pizza.

We didn’t stay on this occasion, but we dined and bought take-away pizza. We were treated in a friendly and professional manner on both occasions, despite only buy something to take away on the second occasion. Both the sit down and takeaway food was delicious and I can strongly recommend the Jam Jar cocktail!

我和姐姐于2022年12月在图尔巴赫酒店住了八晚，非常满意。虽然此行的原因有些令人伤感，但酒店团队让我们的住宿体验无比美好。酒店地理位置优越，由两栋建筑组成。主楼设有客房和餐厅，街对面也有一栋建筑。酒店设有独立的停车场，但我们一直都把车停在酒店门前的路边。我们的房间非常干净（我们住了两间房，因为我们最初预订时周六的房间都已订满，后来才有空房），所有员工都非常友好热情！早餐是单点式的，味道总是很棒。给那些计划合住一间房的客人一个小建议：最好在预订前确认房间是否有淋浴。我们当时就搞错了，但酒店很贴心地帮我们安排了一间带独立浴室的房间。任何想在图尔巴赫寻找住宿的人都会发现图尔巴赫精品遗产酒店是完美的选择！
