Decent budget hotel in Kayamkulam

Initially we booked a standard AC room but upgraded to a deluxe AC room on the 2nd floor which has been constructed newly. The room had ample space with a small balcony as well as with TV and a small storage cupboard. The room, attached bathroom-toilet was clean and the bed linen as well as towels were clean. Provision for tea/coffee in the room was available. A table chair would have been nice. Nearby dining options are available. The not-so good reviews are mostly due to the standard rooms on the first floor. Overall, a decent budget hotel close to the Kayamkulam train station with friendly front-desk staff who can arrange transport to visit nearby places.

It was a very horrible experience with ac deluxe room. Very dirty sheet, blanket and pillows cover, bath room towel used and just like kitchen cloth. They're not provided drinking water and there is no tv in the room

HOTEL OK....... GOOD LOCATION AND EVERYTHING...... THERE STAFF SERVICE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.............. THEY ARE BEHAVING LIKE IRRESPONSIBLE AND ARROGANT TO CUSTOMERS.. ITS NOT FAIR FOR HOTEL BUSINESS......... ...................

I was traveling with my elderly parents. All the rooms were in the 1st floor. The way to the room is just a maze first of all. The moment we entered the bedsheets were all dirty. We reported this to the hotel and they just changed the pillow covers first. But didn’t change the bedcovers. Further to our discussion they changed our room. There is only one guy at the front desk who shows hospitality and understands concerns. Rest all are some young boys who do not even care. Took a lot of time for check in as well. It was late in the night we checked in, else we would have definitely tried finding a different room

It was a horrible experience, worst experience in my life, rooms were so dirty and bath towel was like floor mat, i bought a bath towel outside and the staff behaviour also so bad, i would suggest everyone to find some other place to stay!
