The positives: Friendly, accommodating front desk staff. Lobby area tidy. Bed very firm but comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Nice to have mini refrigerator and microwave in room. Both were clean and worked well. TV easy to operate. Felt safe, although traveling alone. Location close to many restaurants.
The negatives: The room smelled musty but when ac was turned on, it dissipated. The towel rack came appart when I took a towel from it. Looks like an easy fix that hasn't been addressed. When I lifted the toilet lid, there was fecal streaks in the toilet. Breakfast offerings were fine for a 2 star hotel but coffee was awful, biscuits were cold, as if right out of the refrigerator, and eggs were more than likely powdered. For a Continental breakfast, there were more offerings then expected which was positive.
The unavoidable: The people above me dropped something that made a loud bang, probably a suitcase, could hear them walking around the room, shower turned on and running, etc.
If you stay with the expectation of a 2 star hotel experience, you won't be disappointed. However, some housekeeping items mentioned above were inexcusable in my opinion. All thinks considered, I would give them a second chance if in the area again.

Everyone was very helpful very polite. Had a very good breakfast every morning. We stayed three nights and every day had a wonderful breakfast. Will stay there again for sure.

The only thing I didn't like was the TV. Couldn't get any local stations or network TV. Could only get streaming old movies.

Weekend getaways
Check in was quick and staff was very pleasant and offered either ground floor or the second. We slept well and had no disturbances. Breakfast was pretty good too.

The bedsheets were worn a d looned dirty. Carpet on floor felt dirty and sticky. The front desk man was friendly.

The checkin and facilities were nice, however, the maintenance on the toilet was severly lacking as it was leaking and then it was broken.

Breakfast served from 6AM to 9AM, but food was mostly gone at 6:45. Anyone can access door all times. Has a card reader, but not activated.

这次住宿体验简直糟透了。房间里到处都是脏东西。从坏掉的空调/暖气机组，到地板上的狗粮，墙壁上的洞和划痕，台面上的污渍，以及缺失的浴帘，导致洗澡水会溢到浴室地板上。床旁边的一面墙上还有一些不明棕色污迹。任何人都可以想象那是什么东西，真是让人“恶心”。不过，这地板可能是我住进去那段时间以来第一次被清洁过。没有有线电视……被告知只能看“Vizio Watchfree”，因为有线电视（订阅费）太贵了。床很大，但硬得像石头。不用说，住在这里让我完全没了胃口，所以晚餐和早餐都没吃。早餐看起来就像是从他们私人冰箱里随便拿出来的东西。就像我说的，我可不敢冒险吃。
再也不会来这个地方住了，太糟糕了！
有人告诉我，这已经是霍尔顿两家汽车旅馆中比较好的一家了，这真让人悲哀！如果真是这样，我建议大家还是去托皮卡住吧！
