What a beautiful guesthouse! Great kitchen facilities, lovely view from the dining and chill area, everything you could need in terms of bathroom/beds. All clean and cosy. Location also excellent with tons to do nearby!

Very cool hostel. The important things for me (like charging port for cell phone and reading light on every bunk, lockers in the room) were given. Curtains would be nice to have a little privacy. Unfortunately I had a lady in the room with who was snoring, horrible. But besides that everything wonderful.

We were there only one night, but we enjoyed the stay. Did not need the kitchen or BBQ area but we were blown away by the amount of highly organized refrigerator space, well equiped kitchen and how respectful residents were of each other. Our room was good, with comfy beds and bedding, but could use more outlets (what place can't? lol). Bathroom/shower rooms were clean, and the only improvement would be 2-3 more hooks and/or a shelf in each shower, and beside the sinks.

Clean and neat hostel with an awesome view and location. The room was large enough, but bigger storage space could be provided to store bigger suitecases. Also, a shelve next to the bed and curtains would be nice. Now you have to charge your phone on the bed which is quite a fire hazard. Check-in was only after 17, before that no one was available at the reception. It would be nice to have longer reception opening times.

Our check-in officially starts at 5 PM, but guests are always welcome to check in with our morning front desk (10Am to 12PM) – if the rooms are ready earlier, we usually start check-in ahead of time. okay stay, but I left disappointed. It was my first time driving in Canada (I’m from Europe, first time in BC). At check-in I asked the staff multiple times where to park and whether I should be careful about anything. I was told, confidently, to “park down by the water wherever you find a spot.” I relied on that advice and received a ticket the next morning. I spoke with the same staff member, who acknowledged I’d asked many times and apologized, then told me to email the manager. The manager Juliane refused to take responsibility, refused to reimburse, and even refused a short confirmation letter stating what staff told me—something I needed to submit a dispute to the municipality. Friendly smiles mean little when help is actually needed. Advice to future guests: do not rely on staff for parking guidance(in my case even the sign was covered by SUV parked there too, and it was dark when we arrived...) Also: no direct beach access (some rooms have ocean view, but you’ll drive to the beach which is not so close. I also asked many times manager via e-mail to provide just short confirmation that they advised me park there telling her that I don't want to ruin their good name with such feedback, before writing this... however Juliane showing poor skills of management ignored my request.

While our staff can suggest nearby street options when our lot is full, guests are responsible for following posted signage. We have provided you with the information on how to dispute the ticket directly with the municipality, as parking is managed and enforced by the town. We are not able to reimburse or dispute municipal tickets.

The vue from the hostel is simply incredible. The staff is kind, every space is clean up every day and you are at walking distance from everything in town.

This Hostel is situated in a perfect location--the building is well maintained--the staff are friendly and it allowed me to have an affordable Tofino experience--will definitely come back with friends!

Location is terrific, overlooking the water. Near the heart of downtown Tofino. Comfortable and clean. Nice staff, well maintained, much better condition than the hostel in Victoria. People of all ages and families here. Staff arranged a nice whale watching tour on a zodiac boat nearby that I really enjoyed.
