I am a long-term resident of two years, and it's with great disappointment that I'm writing this review. Tala Bay used to be a peaceful and secure place to live, but the quality of life has plummeted recently. A number of serious and ongoing issues have made our living experience frustrating and, at times, unsafe. Here are the main problems we're facing: Non-stop Noise: Loud music from massive speakers runs day and night around the pools and on the beaches. The constant noise makes it impossible to relax or sleep. Unsafe Environment: There are frequent disturbances, including fights among young people at night. The pools, where alcohol is forbidden, are often taken over by drunk individuals. This behavior is intimidating and creates a risky environment for families. Reckless Behavior: People are allowed to sleep overnight on the private beaches, which are meant for residents. More alarmingly, cars are constantly "drifting" and speeding through the complex, putting pedestrians and children in serious danger. The rules that once made Tala Bay a premium destination are no longer enforced, and it's a shame to see such a beautiful place degrade in this way. I wonder if the management can help bring the situation back to how it was.

We stayed 2 nights at Tala Bay Apartments as a group of 7 during a 3-day weekend. Check-in wasn't smooth, as the staff member who greeted us was not helpful, a bit rude, and gave us the keys before the apartment was ready. After we left the front desk, they called us back and asked for the keys to be returned. When we raised the issue with management, they were very apologetic and helpful. However, there was still a mix-up, as another guest had mistakenly taken our assigned apartment, so we were given a different one. The main master bedroom’s heater was not working. The AC in the kids’ room and maid's room wasn’t working properly. The technician who came was helpful and fixed the AC, but mentioned the heater needed parts that couldn’t be sourced over the weekend. The kettle cover was broken. When we reported it, we were told this was the owner's responsibility, not management's. Cleanliness was below standard. The apartment did not feel properly cleaned, dust and we found hair and chips on the floor. We also only received fresh towels once during our stay, with just one set of beach towels for the group. On the plus side, breakfast was good. Special thanks to Mahmoud (Client Servicing), Mamoum (Reservations), and Ahmad (Restaurant) for their great attitude. We asked for a late checkout and got an extra hour and a half. The checkout experience was not pleasant, as there was no one available at the desk, 10 minutes later the same person who greeted us was there, with the same attitude, luckily it was a quick process and no issues were raised. Overall, it’s decent value for money, but not recommended during peak seasons due to service and housekeeping issues.

We arrived before the check-in time, so we decided to go to the beach, the guy at the reservation desk told us that Tala Bay will call us when the apartment is ready, this is what happened. Access cards were placed at the security desk, but the keys did not open the apartment. Nevertheless, someone else opened the door, and they informed us that they checked in that same day in the same apartment. On another note, we went to get towels before accessing the pool, the person in charge did not give us towels because we did not have cash on us to pay 5JOD security deposit although we offered keeping our ID's. The supervisor was very rude, he left while we were speaking to him. On a different note, the apartment is old and not very well maintained.

Talabay in general is a nice place especially for family. I have been there several times. Most of the time it was above average, but this time, it was bad. We were a family of five and two kids. We rented a villa with private pool. There is a big room for improvement in the following areas:- 1. The villa was not clean when we checked in 2. The pool was not clean 3. The man responsible for cleaning the pool came in the second day after we called for housekeeping. He just barged in with no respect for privacy. He says he does not know that the place is occupied!!!!! 4. We were provided with one key even though we are a family of 5 adults. The overflow cover for the pool is poorly maintained and in my opinion dangerous if you step on it by mistake. It gives way.
