I really struggle why anyone would give this hotel 1 star, as my husband and I were really impressed. All the staff we dealt with were friendly & very helpful whilst remaining professional. The food at breakfast & dinner was delicious and what a treat to be able to eat everything with such a wonderful view. Our bedroom unfortunately was still awaiting an upgrade which is the only reason I did not give this review 5 stars and as hotel was initially full it meant an upgrade was not possible. However, as we visited on a promotional offer we have absolutely no complaints nor have any hesitation in recommending Karma Lake of Menteith to others

We came to stay for 3 nights as a break away and were definitely not disappointed. Mhari and the team were fantastic hosts and made sure each and every guest was attended to. The position and views are fantastic with a relaxed atmosphere to help you wind down and thoroughly enjoy your stay. Can highly recommend

We had a lovely big room on the ground floor with doors, looking out over the lake. however, the room really requires maintenance stains on the carpet and furniture the bathroom was below par Karma really need to invest some money in this property, but on a positive note the staff where fantastic friendly and obliging.

This was an absolutely amazing stay with stunning view of the lake of menteith surrounded by the Scottish hilly landscape. Having drinks by the side of the lake with friends was a treat not to be missed. Food is good, Restaurant and Bars are serving best dishes and drinks. Rooms were very comfortable and staff was way too helpful and courteous. Overall a great stay.

The restaurant was at a lovely lochside location with views across to a small island. The friendly staff were helpful and considerate. There was a comprehensive menu with a wide choice of meals that included steak, duck, salmon, vegetarian options and pub classics. There is a good sized car par. The restaurant is a part of a hotel. We recommend highly this venue. We had a fabulous meal in a great location at an excellent price. As customers who booked the crossing to the island and visited the priory ruins, there was a 10% discount at the restaurant. It was a lovely place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Karma Lake Menteith, Scotland resort is located 13 kms from Stirling, Reaching the resort is a bit difficult, as the public bus transport has fixed timings. You need a car to travel, if you want to see a lot of places. If you plan as per bus timings you still can see places such as Perth, Dundee, Glasgow, Stirling Castle view, Edinburgh and nearby places, since from Stirling it's well connected by road and rail network. The resort is okay, not much of indoor activities. Food is good but expensive. Beautiful sight seeing around the resort. Staff is very good. We liked the Wines tasting activity.
