They were remodeling but that did not affect the service. Very quiet even being next to a road. Very friendly staff.

The room smelled excessively of cleaning fluids. And when my wife left an item in the room, the staff said it was not there. We were sad that they kept this piece of clothing.

We booked a king bed in regular room. Very surprised to see a jaccuzzi in the room. Continental breakfast options were extremely limited. No bread/bagels/muffins. Coffee was good tho.

At 7:15 AM, breakfast was wiped out. Bagels, cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, coffee, and grab and go snacks were depleted. Niah, the front desk attendant, seemed put out when I asked her to replenish the food. I personally went into the back kitchen by myself to get what I needed. The back kitchen was filthy.

Chemical Smell in Room
We checked in pretty late and the room was filled with a chemical cleaning product smell. Luckily we were able to open the windows to help clear it out. The bed was comfortable though. I think they need to do a deep cleaning and lay off the chemicals.

The carpets are old. The a/c was not working properly in one of our rooms and 1 of the windows in one of our rooms was broken. Had this room been on the ground floor, this would have been a safety issue.

AVOID THIS PLACE
This place is not worth your time or money. We stayed here as it was the only place in the area with a pet friendly room for the dates we needed. Broken key card reader- front desk staff had to use a tool to bypass the card reader and let us into our room every time. Only 1 person knew how to use it, the others had to call other staff members for help. Toilet wouldn't flush, HUGE gross stain on the carpet. They switched our room. New room was minimally clean, bathroom door handle was nearly falling off, TV didn't work, can lights falling out of the ceiling, bathroom faucet was pulled out of the counter, bathroom counter overhung the cabinet, making it difficult to sit on the toilet- you had to sit on the toilet at an angle and stand up at an angle to avoid hitting the counter top. Jacuzzi tub didn't work (not that we'd have felt safe to use it based on the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel anyway). We were informed the hotel fired the maintenance person over a year ago and they currently do not have anyone to do maintenance- IT SHOWS. Positives: Front desk staff were very friendly, excellent breakfast restaurant just across the parking lot.
