It was recommended by other reviewers to stay in a corner room. Ours overlooked park lake, fire stairs on one side, the parking lot and neighborhood the other window. It was quiet. The tv was huge and blocked half the window on the lake side lol. The room was clean and had nice old touches to the room with bold wallpaper. Bed was good, firm and comfortable. We weren’t there much when the restaurant was open. We walked the two blocks to downtown. Very convenient. Parking at the hotel was easy (it’s November) with only maybe 15 cars in a nice large surface lot that can take high profile vehicles. We stayed in 501. We plan to stay here again in the off season but try a diff room for a diff view. Not sure the extra cost for a tv lake view was worth it lol

Staff was friendly. The room was not clean. We paid extra to get the view, but I would have preferred to have the cobwebs cleared and the room dusted, the water glass rings wiped off of the bedside tables and the toothpaste cleaned from the bathroom vanity and the wall and mirror. Also, the floor had clothing tags from a previous occupant not to mention it felt gritty like it hadn't been swept.
Very disappointed as we have stayed here in the past and it was lovely back then. We will not be staying here again.

The hotel has character and history, it’s clean and the location is prime for walking to dining options and exploring both the downtown and lakeside trails. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The hotel provided the smallest bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner bottles. For the $250+ price, I think this should be improved upon. The mattress was firm, so if you like a softer mattress, you may need to consider this. We enjoyed having cocktails in the 5th floor bar. It has a nice view of the lake.

sad to see the loss of an era with the renovation resulting in being very ordinary if not substandard. Also closed dining room, no regular housekeeping, no food or snacks in Crowsnest anymore. Room had super slow water drainage, loud clanking heater, frig froze items. Glad I saw what has happened but will not stay here again. It used to be my hotel of choice when in Marquette.

This is a nice hotel with 1930s ambience, well-decorated rooms and quality service and dining.
During our stay, the guest internet access was weak, often disappearing entirely.
I was surprised during check-in to be charged an additional $15 per day of stay in anticipation of obtaining drinks or snacks from the front desk. I was unable to confirm that the charges were reversed upon leaving as we got no snacks or drinks. The sole person on the front desk at the time was dealing with an apparently complicated billing issue with another guest.

酒店回复: Thank you for your stay with us and for your review. We can assure you that your incidental charges were put back onto your card. We do hold $15 a day on guests card at arrival. Most see this as an advantage that they can go up to the Crow's Nest and order a drink or down to the pub and just be able to say "Put it on my room!". We're sorry to hear that you weren't able to but again, please know, those were just incidental "holds" and were absolutely reversed at check out.

Charming and nostalgic hotel and I enjoyed the old pictures of the place from the past that were in the room. Enjoyed a nice drink at The Crow's Nest and had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the hotel.

Room had a dirty towel under the vanity. Shower floor looked unclean, both it and the caulk discolored. Lots of dings, chips in the furniture. Paint in the room definitely needs a refresh. Three bucks for water. No breakfast, neither of the free or paid kind. Have stayed here quite a bit over the years, probably off the list now.

The hotel is centrally located in Marquette. Walkable to restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel while nicely maintained, could use some deep cleaning of the shower (moldy caulking). The room is nicely decorated but is missing storage for clothes when staying longer with 2 people.
The hotel is not full service, so you need to ask for fresh towels, soap, toilet paper etc.
The hotel staff (1-2 behind the front desk) helps you only with the most basic tasks as checking in / out … not very customer service centric.

Just ok
The room was clean, but they said that housekeeping wouldnt come in on the 2nd day. If you were out of anything, you were told to go down to the front desk and get it.
