Spot on hotel. Very clean and presentable hotel with good decor and quality of furnishings in the bedroom. Owners very freindly and breakfast was good too. Would recommend and very competitively priced too.

Owners were quite pleasant and accommodating, serving early breakfast due to early departure time,generously packing us a lunch bag for our train trip to London;helpful with finding us an excellent taxi driver for our excursion.

The couple are lovely. Very welcoming. Fantastic breakfast. Fresh mushrooms cooked perfectly. For the meat eaters, the black pudding was supposedly amazing. Very comfy beds (room 5)

Great hotel!
Really nice little hotel that I would definitely stay again in the area! My room was small (single occupancy) but absolutely did the job. Very clean, comfy bed and modern bathroom with a strong shower - what more can you want?! While I had to checkout before breakfast, the ladies at reception offered me to take some bits and pieces from the prepped fridge before I left which was much appreciated.

Quirky room at the top of the 53 stairs but the rest seem good. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast and very friendly staff and owner. Good low cost accommodation to explore the area. Short drives to coastal path and sea front as well as great restaurants.

Friendly, professional service, combined with a comfortable and immaculately clean room. The hotel offers a wide range of breakfast options and is in easy walking distance from the centre of town. All in all, excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
