The room was good. Love that there was a sink inside and another outside the bathroom. Room amenities were nice, with a fridge (that was unplugged when we got there), a table with chairs, a microwave and balcony. We were there for a weekend event so the unavailable ground floor rooms and not having an elevator to haul costumes and props up was a bummer. Head's up if you have mobility issues. The mattress was super firm and on a metal bedframe that groaned every time you moved around on the bed. Not horrible, just funny and wishing I brought my white noise machine to cover the sound when I moved. Also pillows were very old and flat. (My friend used to work in housekeeping, so to be helpful, we stripped the bed before checking out. I advise you not to do that. This is how I discovered how old the pillows were.) One snafu was that person that checked us in, circled the wrong room on the map. So we were trying to open the door to a room that was already occupied! How embarrassing. But really, All in all it's a fine place to stay and the price was right. The bar downstairs was nice and I didn't notice any noise when I got in the room. It was near to our destination and just right for our needs. I'd stay there again.

Hidden Gem

Great stay with everything you need. Close to grocery store, restaurants, shopping, local bars. Check in was easy and parking was right by the room. Would recommend to anyone and will return again in the future.

Checkin is awkward. No one at desk and you have to call on counter phone for service. The sign says you should call and stay on the line. I did this and waited for an answer three times before getting a response. Took about 20 minutes just to check in. Loud fan noise all night sounded like a helicopter got trapped in the attic above the room.

Went for concert at Crystal Grand Music Theatre and just needed for 1 night. The manager was pleasant upon checking. The room was clean &fresh & we were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor deck with chairs & small table. Didn’t have time to use pool area but it was very clean & neat & pool was very clean. We plan on using this motel next time we go to Baraboo.

At check-in, the charges were $30/day over the anticipated rate. No explanation. We booked well in advance. After check-in, we received NO services from the motel. No fresh towels, no bed make-up, no cleaning. Nothing. Worst lodging experience I've ever had.

For an older hotel it was very clean and quiet. Our room has been updated, no carpet. This is a great update. Staff at check-in was very nice. Will stay here again.
