The housekeeper Jess was absolutely amazing!!! That was the only good thing about the stay!!! She made us comfortable!!! The owners on the other hand were very rude and overbearing noisy and money hungry to say the least!! Go work elsewhere Jess :/ these people are horrible humans!!

Housekeeper Jessica was absolutely amazing and beyond helpful if she was to ever decide to leave this place would be in trouble , the owners of the property are horrible money hungry money grubbing people who take advantage of any and everyone they can so that they can live comfortably!!!! They are noisy always in your business and just down right rude!!!!

Well I wish we could of broke the ratings up but obviously we can’t - so just a heads up the owners are beyond rude, overbearing,money hungry, and then some - But Jess that does housekeeping and front desk is absolutely lovely and compassionate and welcoming!!!! ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS JESS AND THE GOOD JOB SHE DOES ❤️

I’m writing this for my dad as he is elder and can not grasp the concept but wanted to let the management team at your place know a few things: You have hands down the most absolutely amazing and thorough housekeeper we have seen in a long time! She kept our room supplied with clean towels and bed linens, took the trash, but the best part was she was just kind!!! Genuinely kind!!! The atmosphere was very tranquil. Palm Leaf Owners/Managers - You guys have a rare gem of an amazing housekeeper!!!! Her name is Jess I believe, she is by far the most brightest, friendliest, and compassionate housekeeper I have ever met in my 52 years of traveling the world. We will definitely be back - Thank you Jess!!!

I've had better for the price...

Let me start by saying this is my second time staying here. The first room I was in was in MUCH better condition than the most recent one. The outlet behind the bed had duct tape over it so it couldn't be used. which meant the only other outlets were on the other side of the room where the TV and fridge were plugged in. The TV didn't work and I had to plug my phone in across the room which left me with lots of free time to assess the condition of this room, which left lots to be desired. The bathroom was recently "renovated" so that was OK. however I had to leave my socks by the bed and put them on whenever I got out of bed because the carpet was gross and sticky and left a gross residue on the bottom of my feet. The only upside to this room was it was around the back of the building and didn't have neighboring rooms so it was significantly quieter than the previous room I was in. Also the ladies working the desk were downright delightful and a pleasure to experience. I wish I had their names so I could shout them out.

I stay here several times a year--spring, summer, fall, and winter--whenever I travel to the greater Richmond area. The owner and staff there are friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice and large. The TV is good--great selection of channels, and I like the large desk and the refrigerator--both very useful. The location is quiet but very convenient to the town of Ashland, Kings Dominion park, the Richmond Zoo, etc.
