They are remodeling and supposedly Under New Management. However there was no breakfast which okay maybe I can get past that, but no coffee!!! There is no coffee maker in the room no coffee up in the front office. I had specifically chosen this one because it offered breakfast and it was close to where I needed to be. Don't say that you offer breakfast if you're not going to offer it! They had me in a room that wasn't completely sealed. I hope that they get that fixed before bugs and things become an issue. It was extremely hard to sleep because all I could hear was the traffic all night long. I don't normally watch TV but this time I had chosen to watch some TV except the up Channel and down Channel button on remote doesn't work so you have to put in a number hyphen button and another number in hopes that you find something. As you can tell I'm a little grumpy from lack of sleep and no coffee. Hopefully they can get all these things taken care of quickly so others don't have this experience.

So normally I WOULD NOT put my personal business out there and I would have addressed this in person but… my children are experiencing hard times in life and are in the process of finding a new home. I am a full time mom and have a full time job as well. I booked this stay for 2 nights because it was the cheapest I could find in a hurry. I get it. We get what we pay for but I DID NOT nor do I recall purchasing BEDBUGS. I have pictures of them saved. I had work on both of the days we stayed here and I ended up just staying up all night or most of the night keeping watch while my kids tried to get some rest for school the next day. I do not and did not have time to deal with this in person but the evidence speaks volumes because this being a hotel on the outskirts of Cuero on a main road I see it every single time I make a trip that way so almost daily. For the past few months I would often see debris thrown outside. I ASSUMED that they were just remodeling because hotels do that. Now… I am assuming now that it was due to an infestation. The mattress pads seemed brand new the top mattress was new but…… if you have an infestation of sorts EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE CHANGED OUT . The box springs were old still. The bedding as well. The bed skirts showed numerous signs of age. I was not happy with this because I have dealt with bed bugs due to hotel carelessness before and I refuse to do so again especially with 3 kids and trying to move!

Very bad shape we could not stay and had to rent somewhere else. Filthy, with very seedy cars and people in parking lot. Bathroom in lobby was disgusting

This property isn’t nothing like the pictures. No lawn maintenance whatsoever. Rooms are dirty and not maintained. I will never get a room at this location again.

Rat dropping on the bed in the restroom,
Cricket’s everywhere overall dirty, sheets and pilllws smelled so bad is seemed they did not washed the sheets I do not recommend at all. Staff was ok
