We stayed for three nights at the Steven Clay Homestead while visiting our daughter and her family in nearby Raymond. Ed and Teresa have been loving caretakers of this historic home. They can share much of the history of the house, the area and many objects of interest. They are delightful couple and so very interesting to talk to. I'm sure if we lived nearby we could be close friends. However, one of the best highlights of our stay was Ed's Eggs Benedict. They were so good we had them three days in a row, even though there were other tempting breakfast options. In our opinion, they were the best Eggs Benedict ever, not overly fussy or embellished, just delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family or happen to be in the area.
