It was a busy period over Easter with lots of families around, but the best part was the location right on the beach, which made it easier to go for walks. Friendly owners and other guests were very helpful. Stayed here before in the cabins. Showers and toilets pretty clean.

We had a cabin, and the rest of the family were in their camper. We got put nicely close together. Beautiful location right on the beach. Would be 5 stars if it wasnt for the stench of rotting fish from the bins. Many of the campers were fishing, and you cant blame the site if some campers spoil it

酒店回复: Hi Frank, thanks for the review, it is a great location isn't it. Sorry about the smelly rubbish, we do have a freezer in the camp kitchen for smelly things that get emptied on bin day. It would be helpful if everyone could use that facility. We hope to see you again, maybe when it's not fishing season.

We had a lovey 6 days and nights at Blacks Beach. Our site was lovely and flat, a drive through site, we even had a glimpse of the ocean from our van door. The staff at check in were lovely and very helpful. The ground staff were also very pleasant and helpful. We only had a very short walk to the most beautiful clean beach. The amenities were extremely clean. We didn’t use the lovely BBQ area or the pool but they looked clean. The park generally was very quiet even though most nights it appeared full.

酒店回复: Hi, thanks for the feedback. WiFi is a difficult one these days. our wifi is really only suitable for checking emails or browser searching. Most people nowdays travel with their own portable wifi for live streaming.

This was the third stay for my wife and I at BIG4 Mackay Blacks Beach Holiday Park. We have returned to this park because it is a very pleasant caravan park. It is small, and the sites are compact but it is in a good location. This stay we managed to get a beachfront site. It was very long, so we had plenty of room to park our car in front of the caravan. The site has fake grass which is getting tired and worn. The beachfront site allowed us to walk straight out the back onto the beach. The downside of the location was the on shore winds! The park is about 1 minutes drive from shops etc, so it is necessary to drive to stock up. There are however, plenty of options within reasonable driving distance. Overall we give BIG4 Mackay Blacks Beach Holiday Park, 4 stars out of 5

Good for a short stay with beach access
Mainly a caravan park with some villas. Very good beach. Comfortable stay. Clean. Quite crowded with multiple parked caravan. 20min drive to city Centre for food but there is a few good place nearby for meals.
