Our short one night stay was comfortable, clean and the room well appointed even though slightly dated. Bedding was good. And staff had turned on the heating for our arrival on a cold wet windy afternoon which was a nice touch. The checkin staff were friendly and helpful.

2 night stay to do a Forgotten World adventures rail trip. Old school motel but clean & comfortable. Easy walking distance to main st for eating & shops. Close to Forgotten World adventures to access excursions. No aircon so we kept the bathroom windows propped well open for some fresh air. Convenient motel for all our needs & popular stop for tourists accessing local excursions.

Brief stay at the Alexander Motel
Alexander Motel is not a 5* hotel but everything works as advertised. Room, kitchen and bathroom are all clean. Bed is comfortable. For a small kitchen it is well equipped including an air fryer! It is easy to find and situated ＜100 yards away from the main road. There is an rsa restaurant beside the hotel for good value straightforward food. On the Main Street there are many cafes for breakfast options

the motel is clean and within walking distance to the town center. We only stayed for one and the motel suits the purpose well.
