Always a pleasant stay! Staff and rooms are lovely. if I was to change or request anything some of the rooms could do with up graded smart TV's other then that I absolutely love staying At the Black Diamond, it quiet, safe, convenient and the rooms are beautiful! It is my favourite place in Blackwater to stay and I Highly recommend your next stay be here!

I cancelled this property twice by email directly with motel. And spoke to your customer service to arrange refund due to being 500ks away from area. He guaranteed a refund even though it was non-refundable due goodwill. He would arrange refund once he spoke to the motel. As he could not make contact, he advise that the team would follow up. No refund as yet or follow up email

Clean, comfortable, economical

Bed was really comfortable, sheets were really nice, shower was hot, room was clean. Price was good. Noisy at times being on highway and railway line, but not too bad really.

The place was quite good even the young lady who manage the whole place is nice and kindness and she is the only staff,she always smile while I can tell she has are roughly day and look tired..The bed was quite clean and comfort.Price is very good.. Keep it up young lady 👏 💪

The property is right beside the Capricorn Highway with road traffic slowing from around 10:00pm but starting up again at 4:00am. Walls are paper thin so the ability to block out road noise and neighbours party impossible.

Basic but ok. Cleaning requires a little attention and fittings need updating. Such as new lighting. The existing fluorescent tubes are missing the covers/diffuser and there’s no ceiling fan. Bathroom is updated and is good with the exception of a working exhaust fan.

Just don’t do it. We paid but didn’t end up staying. Room had a bad smell and the shower was full of mould. Photos on their web site must have been taken many years ago. Outside the room was dirty as well. cigarette butts everywhere. Plenty nicer places to stay.
