The staff proved gracious and attentive, though registering my Amex for incidentals presented a brief snag. Meals at The Gulch Pub were generous and reasonably priced—most of the dinner shone, save for the overly dry chicken—while breakfast at Swen earned high marks, especially the superb huevos rancheros. We look forward to indulging in spa services and have already savored a brisk ascent up the mountain.

Staff was wonderful. We were placed in a room next to the public bathrooms, which ended up being pretty loud, even through the night we heard flushing. Not ideal, a lovely place nonetheless.

Nice mix of fancy and relaxed. Wonderful service from helpful staff. Spa was lovely. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tubs. Great access to ski slopes. But also, pricey, and limited options for dining.

There was a urine stain on the carpet right next to the bed. Seriously gross, and the staff did nothing about it during our stay. I am very sad to report the SnowPine has gone down hill.

The room and facilities were very nice. Swen's restaurant was excellent with great food and service. We appreciated that they were able to move us from a table directly in front of the kitchen door to a window. A good restaurant planner would have put a wall or a screen in front of the kitchen door. Our TV did not initially work. The ice machine was broken. I ordered one of four dessert wines available at the bar and they were out of it. The worst of it was that our room was located under the kitchen/dining room area which had a hard floor so we heard noise from that throughout the evening and early morning. At some point in the middle of the night the screen on the bedside telephone started flashing for no apparent reason and we had to unplug it to get it to stop. We expected a better experience for the price. I would go back to the restaurant but probably not the hotel.
